So, the development team needs months to achieve a simple image update? Still, I can't understand why so hard to get the latest good version for TRX owners and override the current one? Fonts are ugly, the engine graphic is wrong, the Boost gauge is missing, the software has glitches like you are in one screen and kick you out to the "landing" screen, you change the screen and it goes white screen, then load the graphics for that screen. Please, roll back everything. I want the original styling on my screen; it was responsive, and I had everything that I needed. Hasn't RAM learned that what works, you don't touch it? Instead of changing graphics and fonts, just fix the driveshaft, axles, radiator plastic getting broken, roof water intrusion because the thrid light or maybe the antenna (I noticed my antenna has a gap were water is going inside, if you try to move it you will notice bubbles coming out), moisture in lights (all 3 hood lights have water, and each costs $100; one of my license plate lights has water and a rusted bolt, the tailgate handle light has water), just to mention some. The truck is 1 year old, let's see in 5 years!

Light is "white" because a lot of moisture and water inside.

Water and moisture inside since day 1 (in all 3 lights)

Ambient sensor is rusted

Gap between the right fender and pillar A (I have seen this in other TRX)

I will throw in my 2 cents. I would have never known about this “issue” unless I kept up with this forum. I never go into those pages on the screen or change any settings from “Auto” as set from the factory. I don’t monitor any of the gauges people are saying are missing, etc.

With that being said, my graphics changed maybe a month or two ago to the RHO graphics and since the July deadline for the fix I have been checking every so often to see if they changed back.

So yesterday morning it had the RHO graphics and this morning it was back to TRX graphics. We will see if it sticks. Either way my life has not been significantly impacted one way or the other.

Has anyone gathered any data on what model years seem to be having the flip flop between RHO and TRX? I’m wondering if a certain model year or build point in time have more problems than other points?

@RamCares, like others have said, including myself many pages ago, why can't you just roll back to the latest build for the TRX? Let me repeat that, why can't you just roll back to the last stable build for this truck?

My guess is you don't want to have to have dealers do that, because of the cost it would cost to have people go in under a warranty repair. But your answers, and those from your software team saying you are working on the problem,, unless they are complete bloody idiots, and I'm beginning to think they must be, they should be able to easily rollback our trucks to the version before you guys screwed it up with this update!

And get rid of that f****** Alexa, which starts every time I start my truck. I never had Alexa before, I can't turn it off, I can't delete it from my pages so it doesn't automatically start.

I don't have alexa at home, and have no intentions of ever having it., I don't want alexa, so get that f****** bitch out of my truck!

Rant over. Roll back the software, we don't need new software, rollback the software that we paid for, that's what we need... our software that was installed when we bought our trucks.

So...Roll it back... this whole Fiasco is because you hire a bunch of Dei people and not people who are qualified to do the job...it's like dealing with kindergarteners...

I don't use the "head unit" gauges either. I'll tap the button just to see a few times. But all these gauges are right in front of me already where the Speedo is. On my 23 I can set i think 4 or 5 gauges as favorites. I have one setup for towing to monitor the transmission temps among others.

I remember a few years ago people were mad at Dodge for the Durango SRT head unit gauges. They weren't accurate and didn't match what was in the Speedo gauges. I haven't checked to verify on the TRX. But it seems like a gimmick if it's isn't even accurate.

Now imagine your speedometer gauges you set get screwed up. That is the problem others are facing. Nice it doesn't matter to you right now one bad aota it very well could. On the TRX those gauges are accurate or at least they were. Been told a fix is coming but with what the early recipients are saying not looking great. Ram shit the bed on this they needed to fix it 4 months ago still seems like an April fools that got out of hand.

I just got stuck with the rho bullshit agin today was gone for a few but came back. Now though my shifts seem off and not like when the transmission is relearning your driving. Like things are confused in the computer. @RamCares when is the real fix coming? If my transmission grenades because of this Ram is buying it, refuse to take it in the shorts because of something you all did!

So, I’m still on the bipolar Hurricane / Hellcat team as well, but started up my truck this afternoon and got this pop up error. Never seen it before. Any ideas? Also, whenever it switches back to the dumb RHO graphics, I also noticed a big difference in the engine cooling fan (runs a lot more), the transmission acts goofy, and something happens to the suspension calibration making everything really soft and washy. To the point of being almost undrivable when trying to do anything “aggressive”. Anyone else experience anything similar? It seems the symptoms vary so much from person to person… This whole thing is super odd. And concerning, really.

Knew I forgot something that is the other thing my suspension is all fucky. Normally the ride is well planted when that rho bullshit happens I get magic carpet mode bouncing all over and feel every damn bump in the road. @RamCares when will we be freed from this curse you have put upon us!

I had this happen yesterday too. Thought I was being paranoid but my shifts were definitely off. Best example was it held 7th gear on the highway without going into 8. If there was a way to go back to the original software I'd yank the telematic box immediately after. This situation is only getting worse! @RamCares

Yes, mine did it this morning when I stopped at my 2nd home - the gas station. It stayed on for about a minute with my door open blasting Bill Burr when I started the truck, I got the software update in progress notification. I'm assuming that may have caused the radio to stay on.

For at least a couple of months now, my radio has been staying on after I shut off the truck, lock it and walk away. It seemed to start happening about the same time my CarPlay started freezing on every trip. I've not seen an update, and the last time I looked, I have the RHO engine but TRX gauges (showing a supercharger on the boost gauge).

6 months ago my Uconnect was relatively trouble free and had been since I got the truck. I sure wish Ram would just leave things alone.

Hi everyone,
The current timeframe we've been provided to have all customers affected by the graphics problem is the end of this month (August). While we are hopeful this timing will be met, we do need to caveat any timing with our normal statement that timing is subject to change at any time for any reason.
As we have also explained in previous posts, updates are rolled out in smaller waves, so the end of month timing is for ALL customers to have received the update. We should begin to see the small launches roll out the week of August 18th. Again, that timing is subject to change, but this is the most accurate information we have at this time.
We will continue to provide updates as quickly as we can, especially if we are made aware of any delays to this timing.
