Uconnect update I actually like… so far

Mine did an “update” and screwed things up even more….. I lost performance pages, have lost adjustability options in drive modes, lost the ability to see guages when driving on Home Screen, but hey I now have an option for power running boards and the stupid Alexa is back….

Hi everyone,
The current timeframe we've been provided to have all customers affected by the graphics problem is the end of this month (August). While we are hopeful this timing will be met, we do need to caveat any timing with our normal statement that timing is subject to change at any time for any reason.
As we have also explained in previous posts, updates are rolled out in smaller waves, so the end of month timing is for ALL customers to have received the update. We should begin to see the small launches roll out the week of August 18th. Again, that timing is subject to change, but this is the most accurate information we have at this time.
We will continue to provide updates as quickly as we can, especially if we are made aware of any delays to this timing.

@ramcare can we get a year of the ram app as compensation for the inconvenience. Also, my blinker is now worse after I did the recall “fix”, it sounds like my steering wheel is cracking apart when it tries to reset.

Gotta love when they talk but say nothing! Give us an exact eta @RamCares this it may but we can't really say b.s. is old. This has taken way too long and you can't even say if this new update is the fix. We get no time frames that we can hold you all to, isn't that funny. Just more corporate crap to cover ass and leave ours out in the wind! We deserve better from this company time to step it up. Really hope this doesn't end up being worse than you all will tell us and remember if people's trucks start breaking down or crash going to get really bad for ram. Fix the mess you made and give us a set time for the fix. We were fine before you all decided to play with our property. It is not yours it's mine, theirs, not your's. You keep playing games like we are renting that will get you burned this apple business model needs to die like jobs! FIX THIS DAMN MESS YESTERDAY @RamCares.

Finally back to 702 hp! I also noticed that the ram app started giving me the ability to lock and unlock the truck for free. It would be nice if they included remote start like ford does, I’ll take what I can get though.

system updated earlier today and has a feature I have seen people talking about with the rho. You can now customize your guages and have boost! Appears to be working better and does not freeze pages. View attachment 144977

Your Sport mode tab stays in SPORT, mine goes to Auto tab

Ok Ram Cares... Serious question. Can I stop (opt out) of any future updates. I reset mine to factory defaults and it working well now and I'd like to keep it that way..

You did what? How? I’m interested! I don’t like anything related with Ram updates. Opt out is not an option. Yesterday the radio popped up an update message, I skip it turning off the truck. Today it tried two times more, when I came back the radio was doing the update without my consent. @RamCares any update should be optional not mandatory, it is my truck, and I paid for it.

I found a reset to factory defaults button when I was stumbling through all the screens. Mine was so messed up, I said "why not". So I pressed the button. It took about 3 or 4 minutes to reset and when it came back everything worked. I just needed to customize my settings again, which took a while. Now I don't know if it reset it to when I brought the truck or some software update since. But it worked.

Just got the update and the Hellcat is back. I had that weird rainbow thing next to the seat climate controls, so I did one soft reset and everything was back to normal. Some of you guys must be the unluckiest sumbitches on the planet.

Try Sport mode and see if the tab stays in focus, no matter which drive mode I pick, it is changing the focus to AUTO. Pretty annoying! Also have the damn rainbow in the cooling temp. Probably things will comeback with time, same way happened last time.

I selected custom and it stayed. I didn't try any other modes. I give it a shot next time I'm out.
