Uconnect update I actually like… so far

My old and slow 21' doesn't have the issues, but if I did I would be on your side. No way this should be taking so long especially in today's world. I doubt many are okay with it, but realistically what options are there to do anything?
Same here. The performance pages on the UConnect 4 don’t exactly come up quick, but they work.
 
This shit started in August of 24. Go look at the other main thread on this. It’s complete bullshit this hasn’t been addressed and it’s perplexing why most of you are ok with it.

It is bullshit, but I'm selfishly hoping that they don't come up with a fix based on the results of the last couple of updates. My radio is working flawlessly right now and I just don't care about the HP #'s being wrong.

I'm not okay with how this has been handled, but we can't do anything to move this along any faster.

It's not just the horsepower numbers. You can't customize any of the drive modes now among other issues. A TRX is a high-performance truck and you should be able to play with all the goodies, and you can't now

The main screen keeps glitching back to Auto, but you can still customize drive settings and change drive modes.
I was just messing with it the other day - changing my Custom defaults, and it works fine (except the Uconnect page that keeps showing it as Auto). The EVIC shows the correct drive mode.

You can't customize anything but auto. And it's limited. TRX button doesn't work either
 
There is 27 pages of disaster on this topic alone. Maybe @RamCares can explain why I should have any faith in the 2027 TRX if they can’t fix this?

I’ve contemplated moving to a 2027 from my paid for 2021 (don’t tell my wife, I’m not emotionally ready for that conversation yet), but shit like this makes me more and more comfortable with my pedestrian 702hp.
 
My TRX button works. I've already set up my custom modes and have no reason to change them.
I'd have to see it to believe it. When you change modes it will change, but the screen always returns to auto. At the bottom it says auto setup no matter what you do.

If that’s true on your truck, then it’s behaving differently from mine. My TRX button works, and I can change more than just auto settings. But you have to be quick. Go to custom, and quickly hit custom setup before it defaults to auto setup.
 
Wanted to put this out there. I did a hard system reset from the screen then disconnected the battery and let it sit for a few hours. It erased all my setting and I had to reset them but outside of a few glitches on the first day it’s been working pretty good for the last week or so.

This has been explained a million times. You push the TRX button, select the desired mode, and the screen returns to Auto. However, if you check the graphic display, it will show that you are still in the mode you selected and if you check the EVIC, it also shows that you are still in the mode you selected.

You are correct, but the only mode I can customize is auto. When you put it in custom mode and try to customize it it only lets you customize auto mode. Even if I try it real quick before it changes back to auto it still won't change, it only changes auto. I used to have custom mode set up the same as sport mode so it's just one click to get into sport mode. But now I can't change custom mode.

Same. I’m just waiting on the update. Then, I’m removing the module that allows the truck to communicate with the company after that.
