Uconnect update I actually like… so far

Correcting the HP graph would be appreciated but do they have the second page of gauges disappearing on their list of things to address as well? If the radio is reset, the second page of gauges comes back for a time but then it disappears again. I think this is a common occurrence for most users as well.
Also the map in the cluster. In the morning it works “fine” (takes like a double blinking to start) and after you turn the truck off, you won’t see it again until next morning.
Does anyone have wondering if the new TRX will come with all these radio software issues??

While I am hopeful my system isn’t completely bricked…. The others who had this issue doesn’t fill me with confidence.

@RamCares black screen nothing comes on at all, no reverse camera no flicker of light nothing. Tried reset nothing, climate control is just guess work considering you can’t see what the settings are and you can’t turn it off because that’s all in the screens.

I will see if it decides to come back on in the next drive…. But overall extremely discouraging. IF this update has now bricked a 4th( I believe that is what the count is) forum members infotainment.. I think we can call this a pattern.

I love the truck but these constant bugs make driving it a pain and if I have to pay for a new infotainment screen I don’t think Ram or any stellantis product for that matter will ever earn my business again.

Yep, this is what happens when you can’t fix a simple software issue with a rollback. Sadly I feel they are playing with us. Seriously, months to fix images?? Cmon! I wouldn’t buy a new TRX knowing all the current issues in the currents. I don’t wanna touch my screen just to find out more shit and piss me off. I love the truck, they just pick the worse infotainment system in the market. I would take it to the dealer and will ask for a replacement since your current radio has a corrupted file system. They fucked this, they pay for a new one.
There must be an option to disable manually an updates… it is crazy that your system updates without your consent. I didn’t need any update, it worked flawless until the released the bugs.

Is there still not an update out yet that fixes the drive modes and the 520 hp max grid label under performance? I wondered why my TRX is getting beat from a stoplight drag race against every vehicle on the road. It just doesn't feel as fast since it only shows 520 hp and not because it's hydro blue...LOL. And I sure hope some dude in a no muffler truck doesn't pull up and want to race.

Still no fix for those issues.

Yeah, well in my "special (final) edition" I have the coveted 480hp... and I haven't seen my paid for, original off the showroom floor TRX graphics on my screen since this effed up update. Every time they push an update out, my truck graphics have never changed. It's just the same RHO BS and @RamCares doesn't give a rip... or the people above them who they're communicating to don't.

This whole thing is a cluster of the first degree. And RAM doesn't give a rip if you spend $100,000+ on a vehicle, once they have your money they just smile wink and say we're working on it...

Well I can say, with a smile, a wink, that I'm working on another option... once the right deal comes around...🇺🇸

Vote with your wallet. It’s all they care about.

Sadly, but true…

My guess is we'll have to wait for the 2026 TRX to be released. This way we get a updated TRX firmware that is actually made for the truck and not some hackjob from the RHO

Based on the current RHO experience, we will also get electrical problems, CELs, and dead batteries.

Are you talking about the new TRX?

And the guages locking up, and the inability to customize any drive modes, and the TRX button not doing anything, and launch control not working, and on and on. All they want to fix is stupid graphics? Come on, functionality is almost not existent since April ..WTF

Ram Cares.
ANY UPDATES ON THE NEW DOWNLOAD???
Thanks.
They're not going to fix it. It's been screwed up since April. And they said the next thing coming out is just going to fix the propulsion graphics. It's not going to fix any functionality. I don't know what we're supposed to do

I just ordered a dongle, will try to fix it myself with AlfaOBD and see what happens. Grok said to try some stuff, it's worth a shot. Mine already randomly bricks itself, sometimes a hard reboot brings it back sometimes it takes a couple of drive cycles and I get the "Uconnect box error" visit a dealer message. Maybe I should just bring a bluetooth speaker to listen to music like I do when I'm running old equipment and let it brick. Hah.
From grok: For the second gauges page and boost graphing specifically:
  1. In BCM or Radio module (try both).
  2. Go to "Car Configuration Change" > "ECUConfig."
  3. Set "Performance Pages Present: Yes."
  4. Set "Off-Road Pages Present: Yes" (if applicable for Baja modes).
  5. For drive modes: Look for "Drive Mode Memory: Enabled" or "Auto Mode Custom: Yes" to prevent cursor reset.
  6. Write and reboot as above.

Have you asked @Jimmy07 if this will work?

I have to assume that Performance Pages and Off-Road Pages will both be set to Yes on our trucks. As far as the Drive Modes, all I could find was the following:

As far as your instructions go, I believe these are the steps to access the Performance and Off-Road Pages:
  1. In BCM
  2. Go to "Car Configuration Change" > "VehConfig 1: Performance Pages Present."
  3. Select value: "Yes."
  4. "VehConfig 5 Off-Road Pages Present" Select value: "Yes"
  5. For drive modes:
  6. Write and reboot as above.

It's a software issue conflict. It's not a matter of turning something on or off

Off road pages are “off” by default on the TRX, most are redundant to what’s already in the Performance Pages. I enabled them on mine and you can too but Ram will eventually shut them back off OTA since you still have the telematics connection.

Performance pages will be on and if they were off you wouldn’t have any gauges at all. It’s all or nothing. The graphical issues and missing gauges are 100% the screwed up app software. When I run a radio with this software I have all the same problems, and when I swap back to one on an earlier software everything is fine. No settings within the BCM are changing.

You’re either going to have to wait for Ram to push a fix or get a replacement radio running older software that didn’t get effed up yet and then delete telematics so it never will.

So how does everybody like the November update? What a joke, it will never get fixed, like I said.
