Uconnect update I actually like… so far

So from everything I've read on the forum today it's a waste of time to take it to the dealership to have it checked then. I called and they wanted me to leave the truck for 3-5 days until they could get to it. I guess I've been lucky I haven't had Uconnect issues until November/December of 25

One day my radio will buzz at me and need a reset, next screen is jumping and need to go to climate page so it stops, and it cuts out while using carplay. Just waiting for the next glitch to pop up. Great truck, but man its annoying after so many months with no update available.

I can now add complete black screen when turning on truck. Radio still played music but nothing else working. Tried the reset and didn’t work. Drove home and went out the next day and it was working fine again. @RamCares can we please get a radio update, it’s been over 6 months. Agree with other post it’s a first world problem, just annoying.

It appears to be a boot-up issue. Happens to me fairly regularly now (just happened 2 days ago). The only solution is to turn off the truck, open/close the door, and wait for the dash and Uconnect to go dark. Then start back up.

So I did the factory reset from settings menu. Couldn’t get CarPlay to connect. Did the factory reset again and everything has been working fine for the last few days.

GOT OUR GAUGES WIDGET BACK YESTERDAY! Custom drive mode still doesn't work but i'm happy nonetheless!

Went to use the phone tonight and it said no phones paired yet my phone was on the screen, did a hard reboot and after 10 minutes I had 2 pages of gauges. Still had to re-pair my phone and delete the "old" one but it took, Carplay works, does this mean that they actually fixed something?

You came out with the TRX and without the uConnect updated?? This is what we can expect they will fix for our TRXs. uConnect is lost and doesn’t know how to fix this big mess.

Yep!! I know it is a pre-production but here it is, RHO displaying on something you bringing back is pretty wild… but I hope by mid-year they can have the right system. Who knows if they forget to do it, or if they don’t care about it Took them 3-4 months to fix a simple engine graphic so they still have time!!!

Just yesterday, I started up the truck and it seemed like the radio/navigation took forever to pop up. Checked the gauges page and it had two pages of gauges where it had been only one page for so long. It remained two pages all day during multiple shutdowns and starts. It will probably be back to one page the next time I start it up though........

I had 1 day with 2 pages and then reverts back. If I reset the radio 2-3 times in comes back for a bit....

That's just a telematics box update, not a Uconnect update. The newer (2025-2026) trucks have been getting a lot of errors from it, and this is supposed to fix it. Not that this minimized our Uconnect woes

Still...we have problems too and they're not trying to fix ours it's a bunch of crap

Apologies if this has been discussed already.

I know the propulsion page has shown the wrong max hp and torque since this issue has occurred.
It also reads incorrectly.
I was attempting to see what my power gains would be after I get the dt877 package installed and the hp/tq numbers are so wonky there isn’t even a use in comparing.
The HP NEVER exceeded the tq numbers at wot up to redline. Also the hp reading went to a max of 463. I am at elevation so was prepared to see a lower number but this isn’t even worth comparing

First two photos are highest hp and tq seen third photo was before all this software crap started getting messed up.

Yeah and it's too bad that it's never going to get fixed. We paid a lot of money for these trucks and can't even use the goodies that come with it

Is there a fix for this yet?
Uconnect broke a working system with an update.
Why would one consider a new trx when you screw up a 2-3 yr old truck with bad updates. I am constantly resetting it and loosing my back up camera, navigation, performance pages and mode options.
