Uconnect update I actually like… so far

Now I don't have an oil pressure guage on my bid screen but I do have a turbo guage for a supercharged engine. Still have straight six motor graphic. I have owned a mopar vehicle since 1998. This will probably be my last. What a screwed up mess this is!
This is definitely my last. I have to tell everyone who gets in my truck that the screen and music are not gonna work and that they should not get a mopar. I’ve probably discouraged at least 10 people in my orbit from ever getting one.
Yeah, my wife was set on a new Durango with the 2026s coming out. We're thinking twice now.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have considered buying a CDJR product throughout my years of driving. They struck lightening in a bottle for a few years and were making some cool stuff. Now its back to being a shit company with shit products.
Same here. Ram was never on my radar. The TRX was such a unique package and such a better interior that it sucked me in. It is still hard for me to understand how a company would let simple things like a software glitch (or flawed driveline) destroy so much good will. Then looking at all the RHO issues...... I think your "shit company" assessment is on target.
mine is doing this ever since the system updated from FCA-MY23.T27.46-PROD to FCA-MY24.U29.44-PROD
Im still on 27.46 but have issues now since last month I didn't before. There is more to this ram is not telling us.
My 24' with UC5 has never worked properly. Carplay is junk and in order to have Carplay I need a 3rd party device which only works 68.73% of the time. That same device in my 21' TRX worked 98% of the time. UC4 was a far superior experience for me personally. I am probably yelling at my truck 4-5 times a week now-a-days. My fist almost went through the screen a couple of times, and a swear I don't have anger issues. And fvck you if you don't believe me!!! 
Not sure what the 2026 Durango has in it for Uconnect. But my wife's 21 Uconnect Direction SRT has been flawless.
I believe Uconnect has one of the better info tainment radio screens out there.
I was pissed at my TRX today because it popped up with an update screen. I was actually sitting in my truck waiting so I had the ACC on listening to the radio. The 30 minute timer timed out when this pop-up showed. The first time I hit my ignition button twice then hit update. Both failed. The third time I hit update before the ignition button. It started to update.
At about 64 percent I had to start driving. So I started it and let it finish. About 6 resets of holding the volume button. I had a somewhat functional radio. But each time I had the jumpy screen. Heated seat display with a red/blue bar and arrow. Oh and Android Auto that wouldn't connect.
Shut it off about 20 minutes and started driving. Had a functioning screen. But now I get the RHO graphics.
Now waiting on the next adventure. Maybe are posting about why this will be their last Mopar because of this. Does your truck still work? Does it still make the sound of freedom? Try turning off the radio and just listen to the engine. I hate listening to music. Try it sometime, you might still enjoy driving without the technology

Similar here too... For me, it all started with the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8, then a couple of Trackhawks, then a Challenger Hellcat and now two TRX's. As I've said several times in other threads, if they don't hurry up, I'm going back to Vettes. Any company that leaves their customers hanging like this for so long, many won't be coming back. Such a shame, but it was a great run.
We've had zero tech issues with our 2022 SRT 392 Durango.
Same here. My car play is intermittently disconnecting and I get a flashing screen at start sometimes where the top and bottom don’t load and it shifts around. I did discover hitting the mode button seems to fix it. Also my custom HUD keeps resetting.
Recall my observation above that the 5thgenrams guys don't have a similar Uconnect 5 sucks thread and the problems we're having are mostly TRX specific functions, so this Uconnect issue is likely just a TRX problem.
That also explains why Ram has been so slow to fix it. There are relatively few TRXs as compared to other Stellantis vehicles needing support. We're low on the software team's priority list.

Turned the truck back on and still updating, but got the top and bottom menus back so far.
