TRX Tyrant

It's been stated a few times now but a 20x9 with zero offset is perfect for these trucks.

Took delivery of my 2022 TRX Tyrant today at Granger Motors in Granger, IA. January 2022 order date (302913 VIN). Overall a positive experience. Some minor hiccups along the way but I left happy with the truck and experience. Drove home about 280 miles. The 55 mph suggestion for the first 100 miles was brutal! However, the truck ran flawlessly. 32 miles on the odometer at time of delivery. Unfortunately it was raining at the time of delivery but things appeared to be in good condition. I'll wash it up tomorrow and go over things closely. Significantly taller than my 2019 Raptor. One minor unexpected change in the 37 package....see if you can pick it up....

From everything I have heard about the wildpeaks and experience with grapplers I would stick with wildpeaks

This is not a good way to launch this package. I purposely held off on the $1000 deposit for the tyrant package to see how it would play out. Based on this I’ll take stock delivery and have my truck modded locally where i can deal with any issues that come up. Warranty or not, this is still a hassle.

Sorry for the OP but very thankful you posted this so others could see. Hope you get your questions answered asap.

We have a phrase for this where I come from….”Fuck this shit, I’m out !”

Looks good! I’d rather not deal with grinding and painting so I don’t see an issue with the tires. They’re still huge after all.
How’d your mileage end up on your drive home?

Drives great. 13.7 mpg. No rubbing. One thing I have noticed with my Raptor on wheels/tires that sit well outside the fender is the amount of rock/debris damage on the lower body panels and bed fenders. I’ve learned the hard way the importance of PPF in these areas. I haven’t decided what I’m going to do. I think a zero offset would be perfect for this set up. Vossen can make a custom set of the 20x9.5 on a zero offset….

I was going to do the Tyrant 37 package also but now I’m rethinking that deal. I might do the base package and go it on my own for the rest based on all the drama and uncertainty of what I might end up with.

Does anyone have some side shots of their truck with this rim size with 37” tires and can confirm they don’t rub. Please note if you have a leveling kit also and what brand/size.

I know it's not an all or nothing trade, but if I have to decide between an aggressive stance and rubbing or a less aggressive stance and no rubbing, I'll take no rubbing every time.

Not necessarily my daily. Hunting rig, will drive more it more in the winter in SD. Prefer the MT/hybrid look but want something good in the snow. I have previously run the Toyo RT (also a hybrid) on a Tundra....that tire was awful in snow.
Do you know if the max speed is still 118?

I completely agree. I wasn't happy about the tire change but they made it right by agreeing to pay for the Nittos if I chose to go with them. As far as the rest of the parts.......to be determined as I look over the truck. I asked them today by email to send me all the part manufacturers/part numbers for the rest of the installed mods. I also asked them to send me the specs on the Vossen wheels. I also forgot to obtain the warranty docs which I'll obviously want/need.
How was your MPG on the trip home after the first 100 miles?

Here is the part list of engine mods and 37 PP mods. I thought some of you would be interested.

Did they say yet whether the speed limiter is unlocked or not?
