Thanks for the pictures. Looks like they went with all grey/tan sticker on the red truck. Here you go![]()
My sales lady mentioned that they had a bunch of them up at the strip for some videos, that was before the TFL video dropped, she missed that important piece of infoLooks like the trucks TFL ran
There's a dyno about 20 minutes from here. It takes about a week to get the Dynojet appointment. As posted above, some people feel differently about the break-in-period and how hard you should go. It wouldn't be hard to facilitate, but would slow down delivery times depending on the Dyno shops schedule. I believe they charge something reasonable for 3 dyno pulls, around $100-200 bucks. It would depend on whether the customer would want it done and us to put the miles on the truck to get it there and back.Yeah. It would be cool. Zach@Granger are you gonna start doing dynos on each Tryant you sell?
Are these numbers to the wheels?
I know there was controversy over the wheel offset, from those pics it seems like going with 13.5 width tires would help a little, the size of the TRX just soaks up those x12.5s so much. Here you go![]()
Does this graph verify awhp to wheels or crank?
This is WHP measured on a Hub Dyno.Does this graph verify awhp to wheels or crank?
Wow! Thanks ZachThis is WHP measured on a Hub Dyno.
South Dakota? Wild Peaks are 3pmsf rated, I don't think Grapplers are.Not necessarily my daily. Hunting rig, will drive more it more in the winter in SD. Prefer the MT/hybrid look but want something good in the snow. I have previously run the Toyo RT (also a hybrid) on a Tundra....that tire was awful in snow.
That’s usually a code people get when using a cooler thermostat on a stock tune. In short, the ECM thinks the truck is taking to long to warm up. If I recall, the Tyrant has a 180 in it, but it should be set up for it so this code doesn’t appear.1787 on the Tyrant. I was driving home today from my parents house (10 miles) in 26 degrees F. The truck was warm and I was 3-4 miles into the drive and got a CEL. I went to the diagnostics and the code showed P0128. Got home, turned off the truck and let sit for several minutes. Started the truck again and the CEL was still on and the code was the same. The app on my phone says "EOBD/INJECTION SYSTEM FAILURE". I've read through some some posts on this but none helped.View attachment 55506
Yup. Tyrant comes with a 180 degree thermostat. And yes, should be tuned! That’s usually a code people get when using a cooler thermostat on a stock tune. Zach at Granger recommended the local dealer……and I have a hunting trip planned this coming weekend. I sure hope they can fit me in.What's your next move? Do you have to call the tuner, Granger or heading to a local dealer or your Indy?

So I've posted this info on the Facebook TRX forum as well. A couple of guys said similar things...that its related to the 180 degree thermostat and the truck not reaching a certain temperature in the preprogrammed timeframe.I am real curious to see how this goes. Please post how this plays out.
Local dealer trying to solve an issue that may be related to the tuned ECM and aftermarket parts. I wonder if they even want to touch it as most dealers stay away from tune/modded vehicles. I wonder if the tune needs to be adjusted, potentially a secondary tune for cold weather/starts.
Very annoying...I hope it was just a glitch and goes away after one or two more starts/drives. Good luck!
