TRX Tyrant

I ran ridge grapplers on my f350 and didn’t get great wear pattern, not a fan. Wild peaks on my jeep gladiator were nice, i only drove it a few thousand miles before switching to km3
Why’d you switch to KM3’s if you don’t mind my asking

For some reason the wheels seem more inset than in the photos that granger put out a few weeks back. Does the fender overhang, or are the wheels/tires flush?
I agree. I ordered the tyrant 37 package as well and from what Granger posted earlier the wheel offset looked more aggressive. Also the wheels were gloss black not satin. Might have to go back to stock if this is the case!

Vossen website says +15 offset on the 20x9.5. I agree these seem to have less poke.

I've asked multiple times of Zach from granger about the offset of the advertised wheels but haven't gotten an answer. He did PM me saying he'd get me the answer but that never happened. Would be very interested to hear why the poke looks different than what was advertised.

RG’s are good tires (wear and noise) until you get cold. They are poor in winter conditions. I’ve not had the Falkens but have heard good things from others and that they were comparable to the KO2’s (which I have had on a number of vehicles including my Roush Raptor), which are outstanding IMO.

I get a kick out of it when people try to claim that RGs aren't good in the winter. They held up great in our cold, snowy SD winters on my PowerWagon. BFGs are pure garbage, loud, wandering, wear fast and I couldn't swap them out quick enough on my 392. The only reason I ended up with Falkens instead is the RGs were on nation wide backorder when I needed them. The Falkens are just as quiet so far as the RGs were and track straight. No opinion yet on the winter drivability but I expect them to hold up well.

Having had RG’s in Cincinnati and Alaska, I can tell you they were terrible in snow and slush. It was a good tire overall outside of that. Even with no precipitation, once it got below 20 F traction was noticeably reduced. The KO2 is far superior in cold weather conditions and I would like to see any quantifiable data that would reflect otherwise.

I didn't experience that at all and we get plenty of 20 below days up here

I have the RG on our Tacoma and agree with this. They do fine for highway driving and mud/dirt, but they are crap in the snow.

They did not inform me prior to delivery.
That is the part that would piss me off. Did you ask what other parts they substituted? The tires seem comparable, but given that you bought one thing, and were given another, I think it's shitty of them not to have given you a heads up. About par for the course with the dealer imo. BUT all that matters is if you are happy.

Forgive me in advance if this isn’t the best place to ask, but could one order a Tyrant edition and have it end up in “The People’s Republic of Massachusetts” or are the emissions a no go?

I completely agree. I wasn't happy about the tire change but they made it right by agreeing to pay for the Nittos if I chose to go with them. As far as the rest of the parts.......to be determined as I look over the truck. I asked them today by email to send me all the part manufacturers/part numbers for the rest of the installed mods. I also asked them to send me the specs on the Vossen wheels. I also forgot to obtain the warranty docs which I'll obviously want/need.

I believe that the correct wheel size on the Granger trx 37 is 20x10 -18. Looks like you were given 20x9.5 +15.
Wondering if this is why they wouldn’t respond to my request to know the offset….so they had the option of supplying what they could get their hands on?
