Honestly I think if I could change anything, getting the BFG's the Raptor R has makes the most sense from a 37" tire perspective. If you want 37's and don't want to lose performance...those only weigh 63lbs. That being said, unsure how they perform on dry pavement with 1100 lb-ft of torque.
Only thing is the BFG from the raptor is a 17 inch wheel, which doesn't fit on the TRX. The 37x13.5r18 that fits the TRX is 75lbs.Honestly I think if I could change anything, getting the BFG's the Raptor R has makes the most sense from a 37" tire perspective. Really enjoyed following your build and sorry to see you selling. Hope you can get a fair offer on it. I completely feel your pain there…I jumped out of tuning for about 7 years until I could comfortably have a fun daily and then project on top of that so waiting isn’t an issue anymore.the Apex is currently up for sale - unfortunately it's been mostly sitting due to work and other things keeping me from being able to use the way I intended to when it was built. I've had 2 offers in the low $120's which I have declined, as I feel it's very fairly priced compared to some of the used Hennessey TRX's (not to mention stock ones in "special" colors going for way over MSRP). happy to work with anyone here that is interested, I of course have every work order for all modifications done to the Truck, as well as the 426 build sheet from LME, and I and/or my tuner will gladly take a call to discuss any questions/concerns with the truck itself. I've also already had a third party inspection done on the truck, zero issues, drives like stock (until you floor it). if I do not get what I want for it, no big deal - happy to keep it, as I love the damn thing (but my wife doesn't). thought I'd post about it here just in case someone was looking to get a more unique TRX and not spend all the time to do this level of modification. waiting on parts sucks. waiting for an engine to be built sucks. waiting while your truck sits in a shop for weeks on end sucks. As much as I've enjoyed this project, the waiting was most definitely the worst part. really enjoy being part of the TRX community, so if one of you guys wants to take my truck and go break some records, i'd gladly let it go. it's only a couple of steps away from being the top contender, ported heads and a Whipple specific plate nitrous system, plus a set of Hoosier's....yep.

I appreciate it man, and it won't be the last time for me. But lots of lessons learned with a daily in the shop for all that time lolReally enjoyed following your build and sorry to see you selling. Send it to Barrett Jackson for their show this month in Las Vegas. I was going to with mine, but I decided to keep it. People on the streets looking for a TRX are the cheapest rich people I know, lol. Sending it to Barrett Jackson will get the truck in front of people who are serious.Still looking for the right buyer - it's been tough with all the tire kickers and people who don't value what I've done building this truck. I've turned down 3 people who said "convert it back to 93" - WTF? I have finally gotten to a point that I *WILL* but only at the buyers expense. Personally, I think it's a waste considering how much better performance vehicles like this run on E85 vs 93, but I also understand if it's just not available.
I worked out a deal with my broker and was able to lower the price and retain some of what I would have paid them in fees, in hopes that it will sell faster. Current price is $125K. If I don't find the right buyer at this price, I'll just take it off the market. Hope everyone here is doing well!

Not a terrible idea, the only thing that scares me is the "no reserve" format.Send it to Barrett Jackson for their show this month in Las Vegas. I was going to with mine, but I decided to keep it. You don't need to do no reserve. If the truck hits 115k or so, pull the reserve and just hope you get a top end bidding war.Not a terrible idea, the only thing that scares me is the "no reserve" format.

Haha just a little. Any pics of your calipers? They fit with a little effort
I just finished doing the same thing except I added a cooler and I'm into it for $43K. I kept it as a pump gas truck and I can see why people would ask for it. It goes on the dyno Friday.Still looking for the right buyer - it's been tough with all the tire kickers and people who don't value what I've done building this truck. Are you the 1000whp 93 truck Ripa is posting about?I just finished doing the same thing except I added a cooler and I'm into it for $43K. I kept it as a pump gas truck and I can see why people would ask for it. It goes on the dyno Friday.
I didn't know he posted anything. Yes in fact I just picked it up 3 hours ago. It dynoed 1063 hp & 1050 torque at the wheels on 93 so I guess it would feel similar to your 1100 hp truck. Amazing enough the truck gets 2mpg on the highway better than before. I did 17.2 on the way back running around 70. I'm guessing that's due to a blower with less drag?? Start to finish he had the truck done in 2 1/2 weeks with the holiday. Are you the 1000whp 93 truck Ripa is posting about?
Really curious to hear how that drives on 93 @ 1000whp. After going to E85 it's hard to go back...truck just feels a lot smoother.
