Is that the TT 426 that is running 9.31? I don't have any social media so I've been sent texts about it but was curious what sort of power that thing is making, how much boost, transmission setup and any other detiails you would be willing to share. I only ask because I personally am going for fastest, stock displacement TRX so I'm trying to get a point of reference.I have a proposition for you, could be a great value add for your sale.
I’ll let you put your truck on my hub dyno for free to see what kind of numbers it makes. You’ll be able to properly dyno it in this is stance and get a full pull on 6th gear (1 to 1 ratio).
Also keep in mind that the worlds fastest TRX is tuned by us and is done on a hub dyno. The numbers are real, period.
The trx that runs 9.31 is on a completely factory sealed stock engine and runs our TTRX twin turbo system, our billet intake manifold and pure drivetrain solutions transmission with our custom spec converter. Here is the article on the truck from HOT ROD magazine and Motortrend:Is that the TT 426 that is running 9.31? Geez, 4k rpm launches and 7k shifts on stock bottom end with what like 28psi or something? My truck is at HHP right now, I think we're going to run it at Cecil when she's done.. curious if you had any traction issues even with the slicks? I was spinning on my 20psi Whipple build on slicks at a moderatly prepped track... launching with the new build has me concerned. The trx that runs 9.31 is on a completely factory sealed stock engine and runs our TTRX twin turbo system, our billet intake manifold and pure drivetrain solutions transmission with our custom spec converter. Sure didn’t seem like you were trying to start anything to me either lmao. Why do people have such thin skinLmao. Thank you. Just sad because I didn't come here intending to start anything. It's a supposed to be a discussion, not an argument.
We run that engine between 28-34psi of boost. It’s still together after 25000 miles and 15000 miles of HARD turbo kit abuse, still alive and kicking. We are amazed and it owes us nothing at this point lol.Geez, 4k rpm launches and 7k shifts on stock bottom end with what like 28psi or something? Well well well didn't mean to stir the pot like this but maybe he had the same impression I had when I read it. I felt nit picked after taking the time to reply with the information on a long valuable thread. The phrase discrediting used by Tony would be accurate. I'm sure that wasn't the intention but it sure came off that way from my side. I actually wrote a reply and revised it before posting that wasn't nice. Why are you on here attacking him ? Is this how you talk to your customers ?
I would think that someone representing a business would use more of an informative response to posts rather than a combative response.
When you try to discredit someone you should be prepared for rebuttal. Not "all wrong", people on this forum had legitimate complaints about pulleys, CS and lack of communication. Your experience is your experience, it does not make everyone else wrong.
At least we all got to see the smart ass, condescending attitude (that created all the haters), right from Ripa themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All kidding aside. Why don't you take it up to Ripa tune. Beyond all the back and forth here I'm sure he will get more out of it. I can't imagine selling it. If there's something that troubles you with it I bet he'd help. He's not a condensending prick as suggested. I had a massive case of analysis paralysis before and during this and he was understanding the entire way. In fact I still do. Should of gotten the turbos...... My fault.. Maybe you can talk to him about your cam verses what he uses and see where improvements can be made. Steve is very knowledgeable and I'm sure he will share his knowledge for free as he did with me.Lmao. Thank you. Just sad because I didn't come here intending to start anything. Really? Here's the problem with forums...no one knows who anyone is. You know how many haters hide behind screen names? This is a joke right? Anyone with a complaint got their pulley replaced on our dime, some members didn't even return the origional pulley. I take this personal because when people had an issue I handled it....here's the crazy part. A strong majority of the issues were with their install....and guess what? We still sent them a new pulley. Anyone ever come on here and tell you that? No people rarely post when they are happy. We have tens of thousands of happy cusyomers. You guys like to say "look how they talk to customers" guess what the people catching shade aren't even customers and when someone is ignorantly arrogant and hating because someone told them to, that's that kind of person i don't want as a customer. Not "all wrong", people on this forum had legitimate complaints about pulleys, CS and lack of communication. I’ll give you props ! You did step up and send out new pulleys to people with the squeak issue. I had the incognito on my 22 and did not have any problems with it. I bought your chiller system ( nice setup seeing it in person) to put on my 23 once I’m done with mods and tuning. I emailed you quite a few questions about the chiller system, specifically possible condensation problems being that I’m in a humid climate most of the year. Questions were answered and responses were fast. So there not all negative from me.Really? Here's the problem with forums...no one knows who anyone is. I don't have a problem with Ripatuned, I just asked a question about the hub dyno, then all of a sudden I'm apparently starting shit? I'm not, not my intention. All kidding aside. I didn't do heads cam headers. I did heads cam headers blower chiller & a built 426. I believe it was similar in cost to @10mpg 's build if I'm not mistaken.Defending customers is one thing but you read way too much into this one Ripatuned. Read the thread-I don’t have a dog in the fight. One poster says the two dynos are not apples to apples-which is correct. He never said that a roller dyno is better. You attacked the guy for no reason cuz you read something that wasn’t there. Yes there are many keyboard warriors out there-but I didn’t see anything here to stir the pot. And then your lack of apology in subsequent posts was disappointing. Moving on. Cool build on pump gas but dang it’s expensive for heads/cam/headers that frankly don’t make near the hp difference on these hellcats. I did heads/cam/headers on my LS1 and gained almost 150hp.
