Possibly the coolest and easiest dash cam install ever

Well. Installed it months ago. A lady pulled out of a parking lot and hit the side of the trailer I was towing. I figured she would have pulled up and apologized for hitting me. Instead the first thing she had to say when we pulled over was how I planned to pay for her damaged car. I would recommend this to everyone. It absolutely paid for itself today. Protect yourself!
She should probably learn how to drive. Glad it was just the trailer and not your TRX.

People are idiots.

I installed the front and rear cameras last night. Front is incredibly easy and rear is easy. I ran the cable for the rear tucked under the passenger headliner over to the A pillar down to the door sill trim all the way back, up, and then over to the passenger side of the rear sliding window. The cable is 99% out of sight. All I used was the included blue plastic trim tool and a 10mm socket to loosen the two A pillar trim bolts. Again very easy, 20 minute job. Visibility out of the rear is not ideal but much better than not having a rear camera.

So being as there are 24 pages to this thread, I just wanted to check to see if everybody who has installed the camera system is happy with it?
Very happy with mine. Stopped messing around with the wi-fi functionality, if I want to see what it recorded I just pop the card out and put into my Mac. I have forgotten it is there. But as others have said, its a nice gadget to have in case of accident for sure.

For mine to work I must turn off my iPhone Bluetooth then I can connect to the WiFi.

Thanks for the heads up. I got the 4k front + rear camera for $242. It's showing delivery tomorrow.

is there no product out right now that just splices into your OEM video feeds for the front/rear/360 that you can run full-time and record?
