Here is my 2023 TRX, and here is the product info from their amazon listing. Their photo shows my truck as model B.
You're probably right. I just know that B has the camera and shit in it, and A doesn't. At the end of the day it doesnt matter, match the picture. If you buy from them directly, they ask you before they ship for a photo. @SpottswoodeExactly. Like I said, I don't think the A model works for any TRX.
Absolutely correct. All TRX's use the model B mirror bezel.Exactly. Like I said, I don't think the A model works for any TRX.
Easy to do just be gentle. Hard to explain. Skip to 4:50Just received mine. The install video guy goes so damn fast I can’t see how he got that smaller piece of trim removed, after the big one. Can anyone tell me how to get that smaller piece out?
Great you got it setup. What’s the mac limitation? On a large card should be using exfat, good to go on Mac.Thanks folks. It's working fine! Not a bad little camera. The SD card formatting limitation is a bit lame for us Mac users, but it still shows up in Finder.
Yes it’s reading it fine, but I don’t trust an SD card that I can’t format. Mac Disk Utility is unable to erase the card and reformat it in my choice of format. Never seen that before. Going to try one of my other cards (in exfat and Mac journaling) to see if the camera can use either.Great you got it setup. What’s the mac limitation? Probably how disk utility shows. In stock form you can’t see the actual drive just the volumes.Yes it’s reading it fine, but I don’t trust an SD card that I can’t format. Yeah tried that already: "a writable disk is required" or "erase process has failed". Its permissions are locked also. Something fishy with this SD card they included. I will use another one. Thanks anyway bud.Probably how disk utility shows. In stock form you can’t see the actual drive just the volumes.
The camera formats it for you anyway if you select the option. Otherwise what you need to do is open disk utility then click the box next to the word disk utility and choose show all devices. Click the card not the volume and then erase using exfat. Done
Regular format doesn’t clean the whole device, stupid really but done for the masses I think

I have Android, the only way I was able to override the android auto, was to put my galaxy s23 into airplane mode, then connect to the cam wifi.... It works, but a bit of a pain everytime you want to access the camera files.... I found it easier to just pop out the SD card since it is easy access, and with SD card adapter plug into my S23. Hope that helps.Anyone having issues with connecting with android?
Mine doesn't autoconnect to android auto. But the app still didn't work. I connected WiFi to the LHD thing, opened the app, it asked me to connect. Went back into the app and it comes up with an errorI have Android, the only way I was able to override the android auto, was to put my galaxy s23 into airplane mode, then connect to the cam wifi.... You're very welcome!!Late to this party but wanted to add my thanks to @HorsePowerObsessed for his find and video. Just ordered via Amazon
I had this same issue. I ended up putting my phone in airplane mode and turning the WiFi back on manually. I was then able to connect and stay connected to the camera.Mine doesn't autoconnect to android auto. But the app still didn't work.
