So I know this thread is a couple years old. Hoping someone might have an answer or fix. So Everytime I want to view footage on the camera I have to disconnect Android auto, connect to the camera and then reconnect to Android auto when I'm done. Only issue is it never wants to reconnect to Android auto. Anyone else having this issue? Or know of a fix? And no going to iPhone ain't happening.

I just switched from Android to iOS and it is basically the same between the two. I have noticed that with iOS, when I turn off Bluetooth and turn on WIFI, it then connects to FitCAM with no issue. on Android, AAuto would keep turning Bluetooth back on and steal the WIFI...it was a battle! haha

I use a 64gb card in both my fitcamx. I am not sure if you can go larger. However you do have to make sure it is designed for 4K Ultra High Definition video recording, with specifications like U3 (UHS Speed Class 3) and V30 (Video Speed Class 30) to ensure minimum write speeds. Pretty sure these are the minimum speeds.

Most of you probably know but make sure you format your sd card every so often. You should totally delete the card even though they kick out old files and write over them once full. It would suck to need to get footage of something and not be able to because of a card error.

My dual cam 4k fitcamx has about 8 hours recording time not sure why anyone needs more but if that's what you want..

Just ordered my Front/Rear FITCAMX setup. Drivers are absolutely nuts up here in the Communist Frozen Tundra (Michigan). I'm really glad I stumbled on this thread. I haven't made it far enough through @HorsePowerObsessed 's videos on YouTube to see that one. Thanks for all your work and great reviews for these trucks, Justin!

Same boat in NJ. Im done with Nj drivers. But been too damn cold to install my fitcamx. Bout to just blast the heat and get it installed. Some of horsepowerobsessed vids sold me on a TRX!

seems this should be due for an upgrade soon. Once it is i might replace my blackvue but until then i can easily access it from my phone anytime while connected to the truck and cant with the fitcam.

Check out the FITCAMX website. I believe that you need "Model B" for the TRX. If you select the different models on their site you will see different images. You just have to match up the image to what you see in the TRX.
