Possibly the coolest and easiest dash cam install ever

I had damage to mine and they are sending a new unit no questions asked!

I've been using mine daily for over 2 months now and it's been perfect. The only bad reviews I can find is their mobile app implantation which I won't argue with but at the same time, don't use. If you're ok getting footage off onto your computer via the USB stick reader they include then you'll be fine.
FitCamX app has been flawless for me. Ive spent several hours already scrolling through the footage while inside the truck before saving/downloading and never even a hiccup using the app. Very pleased with all aspects so far

What phone do you use?

How damaged and how much for it or they takn it back?
It’s not bad and barley noticeable tbh. Let me see what they send me if it’s just the housing or a brand new cam and I will let you know

Same here. The app and cameras (front and rear) with the hardwire kit have been flawless. I love it

I'd like to get a bigger SD card for my Fitcamx. For those who upgraded to 128gb, which card do you recommend?

The one I got is Samsung....but I'm sure any name brand will be fine.

1st of all- you def dont wanna go cheap on the Sd. I purchased a SanDisk 128GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I and it has worked well. I've used the same class/etc SDcard in my GoPro Hero 11 also without issue. However, my FitCamX came with a 128gb (some no name brand) already installed in it! I'm keeping as a spare so when I go on a long off road trip, I can swap it out to capture the 2nd half of the trip b4 overwriting the 1st

Exactly. You want to get an SD card that can handle constant writes and over-writes without failing. These are usually endurance cards of some kind.

Yep and good practice is to re-format them twice/year or more so they dont scramble their own eggs. Lost a lot of good videos in my day not knowing to do that.

I ended up ordering the Samsung Pro Endurance 128 that specifically cited dash cam, body cam, and security cams as intended usage. Thanks for the advice everyone!

I have had installed for a couple of weeks now and it works well. Has anyone figured out a way to keep this on while parked with the truck off?

You need the hard-wired harness.

I have the hard wire kit on mine. It works well but it doesn’t keep recording while the truck is off. It will only record if the camera senses a bump to it. If I slam the door it won’t start recording, but if I hit my fist on the dash cam then it will start recording. I wish it kept recording when the truck is off but at least it’ll start recording if someone were to hit you. I ended up getting a Ring Car Cam too so I can monitor it when the truck is off.

So got the new unit today since my first one was damaged and it is everything except the camera and wiring 😂

So, I ordered just the 4K front camera. I got mine yesterday. The install did not take long as everyone said. It was the Fitcamx app that gave me some headaches when I was not connected to my Wi-Fi. I read on Amazon from a post that it's better to download the Viidure app and make sure your phone setting allows switching back and forth between cellular and Wi-Fi. the Amazon comment or said the Fitcamx app will not work in the US. That is what he was told when he contacted Fitcamx support and they told him about Viidure. Anyway, I tried but failed to see if I could connect the Fitcamx camera to my Uconnect screen in the truck to have a nicer display than the cell phone; has anyone else succeeded? Thanks all on the tip for the phone!
