I’m still waiting for mine to arrive on a 1/20 order also
I think it’s in the ocean somewhere our by Alaska which ever balloon it was on.
The bottom line is I have it in case of an emergency. If I get hit I'm covered. The only thing I don't understand is the settings for impacts. Which it the correct one?Easiest way is to use the included USB reader if you want to move multiple files from the dash cam to your computer. The app works for me without having to shut off bluetooth or manually disconnect it from Carplay but YMMV I guess.
How bout normal/medium. either that or set it to low and go run thru a wall & let us know if it worksThe bottom line is I have it in case of an emergency. If I get hit I'm covered. The only thing I don't understand is the settings for impacts. Which it the correct one?
I left it on the default and I can see it's locking files when I hit larger pot holes and such so it's working as intended. The bottom line is I have it in case of an emergency. If I get hit I'm covered. The only thing I don't understand is the settings for impacts. Which it the correct one?
My gap is exactly the same as the stock unit. I did have a bigger gap than original when it wasn't fully seated. You may want to pull it off and ensure it is fully clipped into all 4 posts. Is anyone else having an issue fitting the new housings back flush to the widnshield? Mine has a noticeable gap (where it touches the windshield) that wasn't there before. It's hard to see in the picture, but it is flush at the bottom and the gap grows to 1/8"+ at the top.

Yeah, I pulled it off a couple of times and made sure no wires were pinching or anything. It was almost dark, and I couldn't see things too well. It sure felt like the housing was solidly pressed up/in as far as it would go.My gap is exactly the same as the stock unit. I did have a bigger gap than original when it wasn't fully seated. I had an issue with mine where it wouldn't fully seat due to the power wire being too tight up against something else. I had to physically move that wire onto the other side of the mirror mount because if I pushed too hard to try to get it to seat more fully onto the clips, it would literally dislodge the mirror off the mount of the truck. It took a few times for me to get it just right. There isn't as much room behind there as there appears to be.Yeah, I pulled it off a couple of times and made sure no wires were pinching or anything. I guess I'll have to pull it off one more time and have a good look at where it's making premature contact at the top.
Yeah, no luck installing mine so far.Just installed the front & rear cameras. I have created several sample files but can’t complete a download of any to my iPhone 11. The download fails at 5% due to the network dropping while sitting in the driver seat. I tried both the FITCAMX and Viidure apps with cell service turned off. Anyone else with this issue?
I didn't try downloading a video file from the app, but I noticed mine kept disconnecting from the fitcamx and reconnecting to the truck's wifi. Maybe try turning off the truck's wifi and see if you can keep the connection?Yeah, no luck installing mine so far.
Finally got it after disconnecting phone. Whole thing is wonky for app useI didn't try downloading a video file from the app, but I noticed mine kept disconnecting from the fitcamx and reconnecting to the truck's wifi. Maybe try turning off the truck's wifi and see if you can keep the connection?
For anyone who bought one of these and doesn't wanna fit it - I may be willing to buy it
Pretty sure mine is just like that.Is anyone else having an issue fitting the new housings back flush to the widnshield? It doesn’t help that uConnect uses WiFi to connect to your phone and tries to prioritize over the connection to the camera. Finally got it after disconnecting phone. Whole thing is wonky for app use![]()
1/8" gap is what the stock piece had as well. Anything more than that is because it's not fully seated.Pretty sure mine is just like that.
Yup. It takes some finagling but I can tell you, mine is perfect at this point so it can be done.I needed to do some repositioning of the power and rear camera cables to get the new housing to snap in place. My fitment is solid.
