New screen with update?

Let's be absolutely clear here:
This is a problem entirely of RAM's own making.

I did not purchase a malfunctioning product.
I did not choose to perform the software updates.

The dealerships know fuck-all, and the 1-800 number somehow knows even less. I'm not going to split hair's between different divisions and departments of Stellantis. That's not my job. It was RAM, via @RamCares , that acknowledged the problem and offered resolutions that RAM has failed to deliver.
So yeah, they have to have some culpability here.

It is absolutely Ram's fault, but I don't agree that RamCares shares responsibility. They were very active on this issue and taking time to respond with updates. Ever since the AOTA update in May, RamCares has addressed only one complaint about the software fuck up. Do you think each member of the RamCares team individually made a decision to stop responding to complaints about the software, all the while answering questions about other issues? It seems someone above their pay grade has instructed them to stop engaging on this issue. Like I said in a prior post, I get the frustration but going off on RamCares has proven futile.

Back in May, @KnightMare gathered a list of every software issue to date and was going to forward it to Tim Kuniskis. What happened to that campaign? Other than that, I don't have an answer on how to pressure Ram into fixing this issue, but if RamCares isn't responding to this issue, is it wise to keep beating our heads against that wall?

I’m not trying to argue with you, but that’s the whole point of @RamCares. I’ve emailed the ceo etc. this is definitely a class action at this point. Driving around with no info and features not working also is @ntsb issue.

It is RamCares duty to relay our concerns and they have already done that. It would be nice if they continued to give us updates, but if they don't have any new information to pass along, it's probably just going to piss off guys like you that have ongoing issues. It is beyond ridiculous that they haven't been able to come up with a fix yet.

If you filed a class action lawsuit today, you might get a remedy 2-3 years from now...if you're lucky. You're reaching if you think this is an issue for the NTSB. They are tasked with accident investigation. They are reactive, not proactive. You may have meant the NHTSA. Even then, you have the burden of proving that these issues pose a serious risk to safety.

I've lost track.... Can someone remind me if there is a "simple" way to stop future updates. For the past few months, mine has been working perfectly and I don't want them to f&^k with it anymore. There really should be a way to "opt out" of updates. In other words, don't fix it if it's not broke.

This is the only option:

Ram already f*cked mine up, so I can only hope they will fix it. I'm not paying out of pocket for an older radio unit without their screwed up update on it.

Whatever they sent out last Friday reverted everything back to RHO images.
The freezes (dancing screens, speaker noise etc etc ) stopped for 2 days and now it’s all back. Just with RHO graphics.

Something that can put this in the ntsb wheelhouse is that the reverse camera now glitches. It’s delayed and freeze frames.

That is a federal safety standard issue.

don't remember the last time @RamCares responded on this topic.

I do, because I posted about it earlier this month. May was the last time they responded. Below is a quote from my post:

I find it amazing that I get constant updates in my Tesla that only improve the car and adds features. Ram can't even just sent an update that keeps you at your current baseline without fucking it up.

Hi everyone, we are waiting for the next FOTA release to resolve many of the issues that have been identified in this thread. As we have previously stated, as soon as we know that an update is going to be released to the TRX vehicles, we will post to let the community know.
