Tried several times on different radios and versions, but the software just flat out blocks going to a lower number.
Even messing around in their own engineering software I wasn’t able to force a downgrade.
If they want to quickly fix the problem they created for no reason, they should just relabel the old T27.46 software to an higher number and then push it out.
Have you tried that. If you have access to the software could you try just changing the file to the next number up and force it. Might be misunderstanding what you have access to, But if you can change files to the next that would be sweet then we could go back.
Where did you find access to the file to put it on a USB?
Does anybody even know what this update was originally for? I never saw a list of what it was supposed to repair like they've done in the past.

Above my pay grade. In CDA6 I found commands to rollback the software and force updates but they don’t seem to work with the USB drive files. Strong possibility I am missing something, but not like I can ask Ram how to use software I’m not even supposed to have. Most of the other commands work, so I dunno.
Can ram cares give us an idea how to restore the original version. Via paying for it, etc..

And I was never told about a subscription for gauges .
I'm assuming it's part of the performance package. I know of people with hellcats that the subscription expired and they lost it all. They called and cancelled uconnect, then rebooted it and they came back. Who knows. I guess I'll find out in 2027
Nor was I and taking them away when they were there at purchase and noone at the dealership decided to tell anyone wouldn't be a great move. @RamCares please tell us if we should expect this move or not you have not answered this question. Going to have a ton of pissed off customers if you pull something like that. You corporates may want the subscription based world we the people do not so stop already. @RamCares give us peace of mind this is not your plan your silence on the matter is telling us to ditch your products and never trust you!

I sure hope they're not looking at just the graphics because there's many other things that are screwed up too.
Hi there to clarify, downgrading software or trying to revert back to an older version is not an option on the UConnect 5. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Why not? You have not answered one single question I have posed here. Why are you hiding @RamCares answer me. Why can't we? Are you all planning to hold our performance pages for ransom in 5 years? Is this only in reference to the app? Please respond I know I'm not the only person wanting to know but I'm pretty sure why you are being silent. Just answer the questions and do so publicly where anyone can read it.
Yeah so every TRX is fucked up now and the RHOs seem to be just fine because that update was for them. And we don't even know what the stupid update was supposed to fix anyway
The dumbest part is that the RHOs (and all other 2025s) don’t even use the same version they just pushed out to the TRX. Those are on a higher number (U35.26). Not that it would work correctly on TRX either. Just saying, they seemed to pick a random ass somewhat older version to send to you guys.
The main issue appears to be that whatever model code the radio is reading from the truck is the same for TRX and RHO, so the radio can’t distinguish and display the right graphics. It defaults to RHO because they never expected any of these updates to go to a TRX, and thus none of the old TRX stuff was even carried over into the software.
