RAM-TRX.com Legend We Lost Bambi Yesterday

Are you volunteering to HOST?
I mean I’ll host but my 3000sqft house in Nebraska is probably like a peasants hut compared to some of your guys castles.

Also sticky and in a circle are all parts of initiation I would think.

A BLB would also require a shooting range. Guns were on his top three list.

I’ve been MIA on the forums for the past couple months. So sorry to hear of his passing. He was always good for a laugh with some of his dating stories. My condolences to your family.

For any forum newbies who don’t get this thread here is my input.

When you ask a question with honesty Josh would answer with the same or go find the answer for you.

If you asked a question with a preconceived answer he would challenge your foundation.

If you challenged his response and he was wrong he would say he was an idiot.

If you accepted him as a friend and he accepted you as a friend, there were no boundaries.

In a world where internet “friendships” are a thing he didn’t give a fuck if you liked him.

I knew him personally and was there for him when he needed me.

In an world where your “friends” are thousands of mile apart I recommend you vet people carefully and keep those gems you find to be true close.
I wasn’t around here when Bambi was…he sounds like my kinda guy and by the outpouring of support and love he certainly was a fantastic dude. God Bless !

He was funny as fuck and smarter than all of us. He was as good as they get with his friends.

sounds like you were one of the lucky ones who knew him well

All,

You don't know me, but I am Bambi's brother-in-law. Yesterday, Bambi, the Stripper Hunter, died.

Bambi spent a lot of his time here and loved his Ram TRX, as you all no doubt know. You also know that he lived an outsized life and spared no one from a good ribbing. We lost him far too early. But he really did live his life according to the quote in his forum profile: “Only those are fit to live who are not afraid to die.”

If you have any memorable stories of Bambi, from a solid burn to a Raptor owner, which I am, or anything that tells the world just how unique Josh was, please message me. It will bring a smile.

Thanks,
Bambi's Brother
I am so sorry I am now just seeing this! I had been away from the forum for awhile. So, so sorry... Bambi was larger than life. May he rest in peace. My condolences to your family.

The greatest esteem I hold for other people isn't based on whether they share my views or values, it is reserved for those who are brutally honest and unapologetically themselves. Josh/Bambi was all of those things, and for that I will miss him greatly.

My sincerest condolences to his family and all who love him.

Please let us know if there is a someone we can contact if we wish to send flowers, or fireworks as would probably have been his preference.

I will be thinking of him and toasting him at 8pm tonight eastern time. Maybe you guys can join me for a communal send off.

So long Josh ... safe travels.
A very nice post, Soulsea. I regret I did not know about his death at the time. Bambi's passing is a reminder that life is indeed short...

Sending condolences to you and Josh’s family. As a moderator on this forum he definitely kept all of us on our toe’s. I appreciated his irreverence and take no prisoners approach. When he wanted to be helpful, he lent his knowledge and experience to many on the forum. He will surely be missed here. Will be toasting him tonight. Cheers @Bambi!!
Sad news... :(

You’re right. His brother didn’t want to say that he died by overdose or suicide so it’s none of our business even if that’s what happened. I think we all know his death wasn’t natural.

Whatever his pains were in life, I hope he’s in heaven and at peace.
"Whatever his pains were in life, I hope he’s in heaven and at peace"... amen.

I want to offer my condolences to the family as well. The suddenness of tragedies such as this serve to remind us all of the fragility of life and our own mortality. I'm the spirit of Bambi's couldn't care less approach to everything, I want to share something that some may find offensive... however, I feel it fitting. In the Bible Hebrews 9:27 says "it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" I'll be transparent, after experiencing the passing of Josh on this forum I have done some soul searching in my own life to make sure I am ready to go when it's my time, and I would reccomend you do the same. You never know...
Well said. Thank you for posting.
