RAM-TRX.com Legend We Lost Bambi Yesterday

I'm a newbie here, but somehow I went down the rabbit hole and this thread was linked from somewhere else.

Condolences to all the friends and family. Clearly, a man that made an impression on so many and lived more in his short life than many of us will live in ours.

As a veteran, I've lost many friends to addiction, suicide, and high-risk living. I wish I had the answers, but the reality is it's so hard to step into the mind of someone else, even those we think are sharing their deepest thoughts. It hurts to hear of Josh's passing; like reliving so many other passings.

RIP Josh, we'll see you on the high ground.

This is too weird. I am a TRX and Raptor owner and a fan of both. I also follow the Raptor forum. Forums for by far the worlds top two trucks. The top poster (29,000 posts) on the Raptor forum recently passed away. The forum personality for this poster and Bambi's (still top TRX forum poster) were eerily very similar. Their multiple daily very entertaining posts will be missed on each respective forum.

Here is a nugget for you…sometimes they both would talk to each other on the FRF site:

Well, it has been a year since @Bambi passed away. Admittedly, this forum has been a little less entertaining in his absence. He had a unique way of antagonizing, engaging, befriending and educating people.
I am sure his family is still grieving, and I wish them all well. 🤘

I was thinking about him the other day. It made waiting for our trucks and subsequent discussion fun that’s for sure.

I was just thinking this past weekend that the anniversary of his passing must be soon. Still miss him and his posts.

He brought a lot of smiles and laughs. I loved tagging him in threads that got out of hand and have him go so far over the top, the original arguers feel awkward responding. His character and charisma will forever be a part of this forum. Wishing his family well.

I was looking back at our text messages and we talked about a lot of projects from a trophy truck TRX build we was shopping around for builders and looking around for wrecked trucks to his Pantera he wanted to do a LS swap with. Still miss the guy a year later and think I'll do a TRX Bambi build with some of the ideas we messaged each other about

He and I talked about the TT TRX build a bunch too. I hope I win the lottery so I can deliver on that discussion.

I think about Josh as much as I think about anyone these days. I miss his sense of humor. He was one of the few whom I knew would make me constantly smile.

Miss you brother!

Here is one from the day he and my son both got their bucks.
