Ordered a non LE on 8/20. I copied the reply from chat today-
"Thank you, I can see your order has passed edit, but is still not available to be scheduled to be built; it could be due to constraint or production capacity of certain orders. The TRX's are going to be starting production in the 4th quarter so it will be scheduled closer to that time and the vin will be generated!"

My understanding from my dealer was that all non LE order’s were not processed until 8/24... I put my order in on the 18th and then was told it would be processed on the 24th... of course they messed up my order and didn’t get it in till the 25th... at BG status waiting for a vin. Hope you guys get your vin this week!!

I ordered my LE on 8/18 @ 11:58 am central time. Just checked with FCA customer service and was told still BG status, the system has received and accepted my order but still no VIN. Was told should get my VIN in the next week. Will keep you posted.

Well the only good thing that came out of them messing up my order was the gave me 3k off MRSP... so I’ll take it and wait impatiently like the rest of us for delivery. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Cheers

Congrats on the VIN's! I was thinking all the LE was going to scheduled and VIN'ed first but looking like the non-LE's will be hitting the streets sooner rather than later

I was told some Non-LE would be out before the LE.

It is nice that I don't have to call an bug him for an update.

So my non LE order was placed 8/21. I received a VON immediately and was a BA status with 01 build priority. I then decided to change the color a few days later. I received an updated POC with the same VON number but the status was a BG and the build priority changed to 99. Did I get screw on my allocation because of the change? Doesn’t the build priority 99 mean there isn’t an allocation for it? For reference, on both POC they say order type = retail and scheduling priority = sold order

Too bad Ram doesn't provide a production update, cameras on the line to be a part of the excitement factor watching your TRX being built. I'd love to see her come to life especially after spending this amount of money!!

I had always thought the same thing.
Sort of reminds of when, I had ordered one of the first Diesel Chevy Zr2 AEV Bison's a year or two ago.
I had the dealer activate the onstar system in the truck for me, right when it first shipped from the plant.
I was able to use the onstar vehicle locating/tracking app on my phone and watch it travel by truck from the plant to my dealership.
Made for a fun memorable experience just getting to watch it on the app map go across a couple states to get here.

Chatted with FCA support yesterday; they said my order had been cancelled, but... didn't know/say why. Called the dealer, they gave me some BS about how the original order wasn't accepted; and, didn't really elaborate more. They gave me an updated VON number, which I checked with FCA support. New order was placed a week after my original order date; guess I lost my original place in line. Soooo frustrating, especially when you're spending this kind of money.
