VON Tracking & RAM Status Codes

Just checked with FCA chat and was told it wasn’t scheduled yet and no VIN. To keep in contact with my dealer.

Customer service chat said they cant see status codes on their side. ???

Here was my chat reply from customer service.

Currently Ram TRX is slated for Q4 production. We currently do not have a specific build week or day at this time. You should continue to stay updated with your selling dealer as they will get updates on the vehicle and no VIN has been attached to the vehicle as of yet

Does anyone know what the Build Priority means at the bottom of the Priced Order Form? Mine says 01, I've also noticed 99 on some of the posts.

According to the rep I just spoke with: 01 - is customer sold and 99 - is dealer ordered. On my paperwork, that I received from the dealership, it indicates a build priority of 99. But, the rep was able to confirm that in their system, it shows up as 01; which is what is expected.

My dealer can't seem to be able to even produce any kind of order paperwork. They swear its ordered but I don't feel confident. I ordered a week ago.
Also, they asked me what second color choice that I would want in case my first choice was not available. They said only so many of each color were being made. Anyone else have to do that?

Did you sign your order form? If not, I doubt it was ordered. I’d get on them. Also, haven’t heard there would be a shortage on colors. Good luck

I signed a sheet that showed what I wanted but they didn't enter it yet. They said it would go in the system later that day. I put 1K deposit. But now I can't hardly get them to return a call.

Unfortunately I had the same issue when I ordered my Gladiator during the initial launch. The dealers really don’t have a lot of info, I find that most of them have no clue. The FCA call center have a standard script to read. I was a little surprised I got my VIN already for the TRX. I put my order in the launch day. If you signed that build sheet, I’m sure they ordered but don’t have any answers for you, yet. No excuse for bad customer service, especially when you’re dropping almost $100k.

I just talked to the sales guy and he was told this was the second round of allocations. He thought the non LE is the second round. I am very concerned that this is not right

I agree there seems to be too many red flags. I should be able to get an order number or some sort of proof.

The dealer either has an allocation or not. Some in my state wanted people to put a 1k deposit to wait inline just incase they get an allocation. I called around and found a dealer out of state that was able to put my order in the same day and give me a VON

Well I can tell you whatever you do, do NOT trust anything they say at calallen or the lithia of corpus. They still can't produce anything proving a truck was ever ordered. I think they took my order and a deposit and just hoping that they get another allocation, They are liars.... I called the other dealer that I bought my viper from and ordered a truck at MSRP not a penny more and got a VON sent while I was on the phone. They want 5K over MSRP here on a truck they didn't even have.. EVERYONE STAY AWAY from Lithia dealers around here...
