Anyone getting feedback like this from FCA? Hoping it's not the case. Ship ETA for mine was 10/23 but I'm pretty sure it may get pushed a good bitif the above is true.

I have not, but the chat has a couple of contradictions... Is it part supply or purchasing power. Not sure why FCA would want to limit production, when they already said they wouldnt...

I was just live chatting with FCA, the agent told me all materials and parts are in for my TRX and the build process will begin soon. She couldn't give me a timeframe tho. My vin is 213, non LE, black, however I did order the carbon fiber package and I've read on the TRX FB page that might be a hold up for sourcing. My original ship date was today. Maybe a few days delayed...

OK, it's November 2nd now, are many folks moving into "D1" status and beyond at this point? Last time I checked the tracker most folks are sitting in "D" status and just NOT moving.

Getting really anxious like many out there, but was hoping we would at least see some movement (status changes, initial trucks being shipped, etc.).

Lot's of comments about carbon fiber and beadlock wheels slowing production, and possibly other parts and personnel issues along with plant assembly line.

Either way, would be really cool if FCA could fill us in with some minor updates instead of leaving everyone in the dark.

Just a little perspective here...

Assuming there were approximately 2,000 TRXs in the first round of allocations (just guessing based on the highest VIN I've seen so far at 1840), someone posted the approximate percentages of builds over Oct/Nov/Dec that apparently came from a dealer or rep. That was 7% in Oct, 43% in Nov and 50% in Dec... This was somewhere earlier in this thread I think.

Based on those numbers, that would have been 140 built in Oct... and apparently at least SOME were built in Oct. as people have been posting pics of trucks at the upfitting garage getting accessories. That would also mean that 860 (ish) built this month and 1000 (ish) next month.

There are only 203 currently on the Ram TRX VIN Tracker sheet, so roughly 10% if the assumption of 2,000 units is close.

Let's hope we start getting some more info this month, if production really does ramp up... however, if there are parts delays, and that seems more and more possible, as no one has posted a picture of an Anvil LE at the upfitter garage yet.

Just my guess that all the LEs will be built at the same time, once all parts arrive for the entire run of 702 units.

For comparison - ordered the Demon in June; production began in Sept. They rolled out the 1st on Nov 1. Cars caught fire in transport, whole build had to be rechecked. Received my car 1st week of March. Things happen.
Oh jeeze, that is horrible. Sucks to have to wait 8 months, but that is completely beyond anyone's control...kinda like what is going on in the world right now. I am sure that there are people at FCA on the phone constantly with their vendors pressing for these parts. They want to get these trucks out there, halo vehicles are great for brand excitement and advertising. Unfortunately, pandemics arent great for manufacturing and international supply chain operations.

Same here, I ordered my demon in July 2017, and got it mid April 2018.

I wonder if they will build and ship the TRX are they can, a few here and there even? or if they want to wait and say build 200 at one time? Or would they even be willing to say shut down regular 1500 truck production for say 2 weeks and only build TRX to get 2,000 out the door?

Something tells me there won't be any TRXs shipped until at least the LEs start production. As many others have stated, I'm sure Ram wants to make a big show about the first LE coming off the line, and they have also said the LEs would be the first off the line... which apparently isn't true since other color builds are making their way to upfitting.

Probably accurate. That they are building the trucks in any color is a good sign. I dont think that they want hundreds of trucks sitting in their side lot while they wait on parts for 6 months. Of course I am not a major auto manufacturer, so what do I know. Sounds like a good hypothesis though, lets test it and see what results we get!

I can understand having to wait several months for the Demon when they caught fire. I'm sure the only reason we heard of the fire was because they were in transit but with the TRX there is no "official" reason they are being held up. First it was red and blue, 10 a week going to be produced, then carbon and beadlocks, and then allegedly mules are still being built after production.
It doesn't hurt to say that an option is holding up production, remove it, and you'll get your truck sooner. It's something else because there are builds that aren't red, blue, no carbon or beadlocks, and they still not in D1

Maybe there is no Ram TRX. Maybe it was all a marketing ploy to get Ford all scared and to start dumping money into producing a supercharged F150 Raptor. Maybe on 01 April 2021 we will all get an email from FCA that says "April Fools, thanks for helping us get one over on Ford. For your trouble we would like to extend to you $500 off any in stock 2020 Ram Tradesman"

Good point.

Try to pull your window sticker and build sheet. Hate to be the harbinger of bad news but its highly unlikely that yours has even been built. I think there is zero chance that Ram does not do a big PR piece when the 1st production (customer) TRX rolls off the line.
Agree with you...date keeps getting pushed. At this rate, I'll be looking for another daily to get me thru winter I guess lol

From my dealer this morning.

That makes sense. Seems like they could have just sent this out to us a few weeks ago. Sucks for people who were looking to get in on the allocations that were supposed to be opening up this month, but I guess that is how it goes. At least it seems that they intend to take care of building our trucks before they refill the order banks.
I better start building some ramps to jump it off of!
