VIN “811 & 812” April Order Group

I just got off the phone with Ram customer care. My builds 811715 and 811783 both moved from D to D1 status on 5/17 with a 4/21 and 4/24 order date respectively.

My build is 811785 and ordered on 4/24. I just checked with Ram chat and this is what they said. Not really sure what it means, "Alright, thank you again for your patience here. I am thrilled to let you know, your vehicle is now about to enter assembly, scheduling status currently. Congratulations! We lack an ETA at this time but please keep in touch with us for the very latest."

I got excited for a hot minute, until I hopped on Ram Chat and they told me I'm still in D status

Seems like these VINs are all orders from the second half of April and may be carrying into May. Think I have all the members who’s VINs start with “811” that posted in the other thread, but hopefully there are more who can chime in.

Mine: 811790, status D. Billet Silver Level 2 w/ trailer reverse knob (my OCD didn’t like the extra blank switches without it), Technology Group, and Advanced Safety Group. Ordered 4/24, VIN assigned 4/28.

Feel like it may be awhile so hopefully we can keep each other sane here.

How are they picking these numbers? I ordered 4/20, D on 4/28 vin 811716 and still in D. Only 2 options, package 1 and brake control. Maybe by color, I know the red pigment comes from Japan and is costly.

With a random number generator. Somewhat similar to how chat comes up with answers.

My VIN is 802683 order 4/19 about 4+ weeks ago. Florida Hydro blue. Called RAM Customer care a few days ago - D1 status. Was told that I am in scheduling phase. Waiting for 2 more parts.

So far I’ve gotten the same answer 3 weeks in a row. Able to make the assertion I am still in D. Once they read something from a different script I’ll text my sales agent to get a real update. I’d just rather bother FCA in the meantime.

Ordered mine aug20, 2020 and it is in jb status. I reckon it all depends on dealer allocation. Chatting with them does not get it built any quicker.
