Here was my goal for this truck

TIRES - Nitto Recons - 37x12.5/20 @ 33-36 psi. I've owned about 10 different similar tires... all the big players, full mud tires to hybrids. I couldn't be happier with the Recons... big money about $500-600 each.
SUSPENSION -
Stock, no rubbing at all. 30,000 miles with this setup. Turn left, lock it right, come down hard on bumps, this setup doesn't rub on stock suspension period.
OFFSET - Almost flush, very OEM+, don't understand people driving around with 3-4 inches of tire sticking out, looks armature.
RIDE - smoother than stock setup, but the big bumps slightly harsher, zero performance lost
DESIGN - I was over seeing x5m aftermarket wheels on these trucks (alot of Vossen). They look good but that was played out years ago and they don't really fit the look of a big heavy TRX. I prefer this more blocky unique style wheel. Your seeing similar designs creep up both oem and aftermarket this last 1-2 years.
12.5 vs 13.5? - I don't see the point in having a 13.5 tire on a 37. Unless you're going through 40 inches of unplowed snow or doing extreme mudding.... The 13.5 just adds weight. That of which reduces almost every performance aspect of this truck as well as all road manners, particularly wet conditions as you're contact patch is larger. 12.5 is very meaty. and plenty wide for 99% of drivers.
To each their own... all these trucks look fucking great.
