TRX Aftermarket Wheel and Tire pics! [size/offset]

Nope but I haven't really 4x4'd yet. We are heading on a offroad trip in a couple of weeks so I will know then. The shop said they couldn't get it to rub

Stock wheels, 37x12.5x18 Ridge Grapplers and 1.6 Eibach level springs in front.
You have any pictures of your truck from the side (on level ground) where the whole truck is in one picture? I'd like to see how level it sits with the 1.6" springs.

I haven't taken any yet. Last weekend I cleaned the wheels and tires and started backing it out of the driveway so I would be on level ground and was planning on taking pictures but instead I ran into the car across the street. Now I am afraid to take pictures...lol..

I will get some soon. Trying to figure out what I want to replace the rear bumper with at this point.

Here are a couple of crap pictures. I will get better ones soon.

I don't know how you measure the leveling on the truck. It looks real close to level eyeballing it. When I put a level on the bed rails and on the trim at the bottom of the windows, it is dead level. The wheel wells measure almost an inch higher in the front though. I was hoping for a little nose high since I want to put a winch on it.

In real life, the truck looks a lot bigger than it did.

Thanks for doing that. It looks pretty level, much better than stock.

If a winch and aftermarket bumper weighs the front down too much you could upgrade to the 2.7" springs. I wonder how that would sit.

It should be level as is if the bed when the bed has less weight in it. It is pretty loaded down in the picture with recovery gear tool box, 3 jacks(don't ask me why) and a 37" SPARE.

How's the "ride" with the larger tire? Any noticeable differences?

I don't have many miles on the new setup. I would say it's a little more stiff and harsher on little bumps and has a little more oversteer, especially in the rain.

On my sports cars, performance is always down on new tires and they seem to come around somewhere between 200-400 miles.

I also bet the harshness goes down when I put the heavier front bumper on

You really expect us to let “3 Jacks” go unchecked? 🤣🤣🤣

Here is something a bit different to show it is possible I got my 17 inch wheels on my truck with a lot of grinding. I don't recommend it but it is possible with considerable effort. The wheels are -10 offset and the tires are BFG ko2 they measuere out a tad shorter than a true 37 and I have a small amount of rub when turning sharp.

Grinding what? The brake calipers?

I figured as long as you didn't see that, I would be safe.

I hate scissor Jack's nut some times a bottle jack won't fit where you need it plus the kit has the rods needed to lower the spare.

I have a 8 ton bottle because, sometimes you need it.

And I have two PowerBuilt Bottles with the stands built in. Safety first...lol...

Oh wait, that make 4.

I just need to get a Badlands or Pro Eagle and be done with it.

Where are you seeing the rub? Inside or outside edge of the fender liner? Front or back?
Unfortunately it’s at rear of tire in wheel well. I say unfortunately because I was hoping to justify why I needed to buy an ADD bumper after spending $100k on a truck.

Justification is easy... ADD bumpers look cool on a TRX and I want to look cool. That's usually what I tell myself...

You must have a cooler wife than most. The rest of us have to say new parts keep the family safe or in my case...just back into the neighbors car 🚗.
Haha she just rolls her eyes at me and says "yes, honey, that looks really cool". :)

Your solution was a bit more complicated, but it worked in your favor!
