TRX Aftermarket Wheel and Tire pics! [size/offset]

As an update to my setup, I was not totally happy with the BFG's. I swapped them out for Nitto Ridge Grapplers this morning. This was a great improvement. They ride smoother, they are quieter and they handle better.
If you are on the fence about tires, buy the Nittos!
The nitto seems to run a little bigger than the bfg. Any rubbing issues with the nitto?

Did you notice the weight difference? Good luck....

My recent purchase. Fuel Vapors. Supposed to be tinted. Looks more like the color of the truck which isn’t a bad thing.

The Nitto and the BFG weight the same so no difference. After spending the weekend with the tires I am very happy with my decision.View attachment 31383View attachment 31384View attachment 31385
That rig looks so good! The light rub is only on driver side? Have you checked to see if your truck sags some in the driver side like many do. Wonder if the new springs Mopar has for fixing it would be enough to help the run.

Yep, drivers side rub. Mine needs the spring recall done but I hate to let some dealer fuck my truck up! I keep putting it off but you are right it may fix the rub. Thanks for the compliments!

Man I’m the same way. I don’t let anyone touch my stuff unless I absolutely have too. Lol

hey guys! I’m selling my 20” Velegn VFT9 with 325/60r20 bfgoodrich k02 tires! They were bought in November but I’m selling my truck!

Let me know if interested in located right below Buffalo NY!

What offset are they? Do you know what the weight of the wheel/tire combo is?
I am not sure of the offset, I never checked. The weight with tires I would have no clue, we never weighed them, this is why I am saying local pickup because I'm sure it would be very expensive to ship, they are very heavy with the tires on.

Nittos are impressive tires and definitely my favorite.

Hey MFG, in your earlier post with pics we’re those the BFGs? Have you posted a pic with the Nittos since changing it up? Cheers

Here’s the answer to my question lol, damn those Nittos look wicked too. Nice truck
That was my first and last set of BFG's. They looked good and where quiet. The problem was, they would shake like hell after my truck sat for a week. (I drive a company truck all week long). My tire dealer is a buddy and I called him. He said that was a BFG deal, I said order me some Nittos. The Nittos are as quite if not quieter. They ride and handle better with no cold bump and they look meaner. I could not be happier. It ended top costing me $500.00 to trade out and that was money well spent!

Are there any 35x13.5x20 tires out there that have the same or better speed rating as the stock? I love the Nittos but they're limited to a speed rating of R. You'd be surprised how often you hit +100MPH on CA highways...

Are you at max GVWR and drive over 118 mph for sustained periods?

That's what the speed ratings are based on.

Horrible pics due to the weather but here are the new wheels/tires on my TRX. These are Weld Ledge 6’s in 20x10 with a +13 offset. I intentionally wanted to keep the tires slightly tucked in the fenders like stock to reduce the crap being tossed up the sides of the truck. The tires are 37 x 13.5-20’s.

I have the smallest amount of rub on the drivers side when full lock to the left even with the Rogue leveling kit installed. I only have the perch spacers installed not the top spacers.

I was able to heat the bottom of the wheel well liner and form that out of the way but at full lock it is still just touching the very inside screw head for my mudflaps. Might leave them off, or try a flat head screw for the flaps, etc. until Geiser releases their spring set which sounds like it will lift it a bit more and hopefully clear.
