The only thing that seems 100% effective and also removes the thieves from the theft chain is a trunk monkey. Does not matter how they are trying to snag your ride… trunk monkey can take care of it and takes no prisoners!

You don’t have a trunk, he will get all wet and cold! The only thing that seems 100% effective and also removes the thieves from the theft chain is a trunk monkey. Does not matter how they are trying to snag your ride… trunk monkey can take care of it and takes no prisoners!
Ah yes… its THAT time of the movie watching year again!
Now I gotta see if Henrietta will fit under my seat! She has some crazy adhd stuff going on
He could stay in the back seat? I give him soft blankets and extra bananas! I like armed animals. You don’t have a trunk, he will get all wet and cold!
Yeah, if it will sit still long enough and not chew your interior or wiring!I see the under seat storage squirrel as another arm of the vehicle theft prevention team. Portable! Unruly but portable.
Yeah… the wiring would suffer damage. Cant change the spots on those adhd vermin. Damn!Yeah, if it will sit still long enough and not chew your interior or wiring!
Doubtful. All i get is deer in the headlight responses. Really irritating that getting security issues addressed at a dealership that sells and services these vehicles is almost an exercise in futility. Come’on @Dodge Cares…. Help your customers out. I call you, nothing further happens to fix the situation.Any chance the dealer will actually know what I'm asking for if I try to get this done?
Your dealer did that for TRX?
is fascinating because while it is available for Dodge vehicles it is not for RAM vehicles. I dont think they really did it honestly. There would be a corresponding TSB saying this us available for your truck’s make and model and year.Yes Sirrrrrrrrrr.
Do you have the TSB number? It the TSB for the Challenger and the chargers applied to the TRx it would list the TRX years it is for. So far, im not able to get out of the starting gate with this dealership or with Dodge/ Ram in achieving a solutionTo be clear, the $385 is not the cost of the lock out.
It’s the cost of the 3rd key and shank, including programming that specific key.
The RFH lockout, if you don’t bother with a 3rd key, is completely free.
They’re using the same bulletin as the Challenger and Charger recall.
I can confirm it is the TSB you linked.Do you have the TSB number? It the TSB for the Challenger and the chargers applied to the TRx it would list the TRX years it is for. So far, im not able to get out of the starting gate with this dealership or with Dodge/ Ram in achieving a solution
@Dodge Cares is this true? Why wont you help here? Why is this all so crazy and difficult?I can confirm it is the TSB you linked.
You need to have a working relationship with your service manager & an understanding of part numbers between the vehicles if you want to gain any traction towards having them update the RFH.
The actual RFH update process applies the same way to both Chargers/Challengers as it does to the RAM trucks.
Best of luck finding a dealer to hear & help you out.
You're calling the wrong entity. On this forum, it's @RamCares.@Dodge Cares is this true? Why wont you help here? Why is this all so crazy and difficult?
Thank you so much for tagging us in this! You're correct, Ramcares is the account monitoring this forum as Ram and Dodge are two separate entities and the TRX is a Ram Truck! You're calling the wrong entity. On this forum, it's @RamCares.
Thank you i figured that out! I dont undersyand how to PM @RamCares.Thank you so much for tagging us in this! You're correct, Ramcares is the account monitoring this forum as Ram and Dodge are two separate entities and the TRX is a Ram Truck!

Im not understanding because the dealership said the factory says its not available for the TRX. @RamCares could clear this up with one response. @RamCares is the RFH LOCK AVAILABLE FOR TGE TRX and if not, WHY, and if not now, when will it be? If it is acailable @RamCares please give us the correct TSB so we can share it with your dealerships wh say its not available.I can confirm it is the TSB you linked.

I have a Ravelco. Love it. Other than losing auto start it’s great. Would rather not lose my truck so IMO it’s worth the hassle. I live in NY so it’s cold in am now. That’s what’s I was trying to figure out.
How effective would the system be and would it actually do anything?
I’m going back and forth between this, Ravelco, or an IGLA+Alarm combo system.
