The installer in NJ covers all the way down to SC, I'm trying to get mine done in Va at the dealership when I go to pick it up.So you can’t legally carry and you can’t protect your investment?
Why do you punish yourself living in that horrible state?
I think there is an installer NJ if it’s not far for you. Don’t know where in NY you live.
They did mine about two weeks ago.The installer in NJ covers all the way down to SC, I'm trying to get mine done in Va at the dealership when I go to pick it up.
Driver kicker trim panel down by your left foot.Where’s everyone putting the plug? Location wise?
post 437 tells you everything you need to know. As Tom said it's nothing but splicing and having several wires looking identical, same color, which makes it harder to trace them.. You can install your own and build your own Ravelco. Just read post 437What about servicing? If someone tries to steal your truck and in the process destroys the Ravelco interface where you insert your Ravelco key? Do you got to wait and not able to use your truck until the next time Chuck and Megan are in the area to get it fixed? They’re coming to install it in my truck at the end of the month and I was wondering how to get it serviced if that happened.
Where did you find an IGLA Installer???There is a thread on here about "kill switches" that talks about that. I ordered a Mobilistic starter relay that only works when activated by a fob. They are not expensive and just replace one of your starter relays in your truck. I never used it because I found an IGLA installer by the time I got my truck.
I messaged IGLA (Author Alarm) and they said they didn't have any close to me but then a guy in Weatherford, TX started installing them that a guy from this forum told me about. If you message the company and give your location they should be able to tell you of any close to you.Where did you find an IGLA Installer???
If it means not having my truck stolen, then I really don't care. After all, we have the freedom to choose right????I guess people don’t mind supporting a Russian company.
That’s why I chose ravelco. My choice of not having all the bells and whistles but a solid anti theft device. A simple plug.If it means not having my truck stolen, then I really don't care. After all, we have the freedom to choose right????
Great! To each his/her own. That’s why I chose ravelco. My choice of not having all the bells and whistles but a solid anti theft device. A simple plug.
LOL!Today I join the ranks of:
Team MuFugPlug!
. . . I chose the more out-of-sight (when empty) vertical mount. My installer, Bret, was accommodating and did a fantastic job!
