Ram TRX Supercharger Spacers

The 100579(1472mm effective length) is the stock TRX belt. I would recommend having a Gates K100586HD(1490mm effective length) on hand as this belt is 18mm longer than stock and should be the closest to ideal fit. Some of these manufacturer's only list outside diameter. The gates website show's good comparison on each belt for K100 series(10rib) fleet runner belts. The K100586HD is the next size up from Gates from the stock belt.
I'm leaning towards gates HD belt since the ac delco is out of stock. do you think the belt being slightly longer will cause slip? figure the tensioner will have a bit less tension.

I’m sure the AC del o will work, it’s closest to the size we need. 14mm more. But the gates is just 4mm bigger than what we need. I think the tensioner should take care of that. I may order the AC delco just to be safe too.

Thought I would share this question and answer with you guys

Question:
Once car is heat soaked or ran for 20 minutes, do they spacers and blankets help or does it negate the benefit of having these spacers?

Answer:
You can drive your car for hours and hours and then get out with the engine running and rest your hand on the blower with the spacers and blanket.
You cannot do that without the spacers/blanket.

Just dropped it off at dealer to have the SC spacer installed, I’ll let everyone know what belt it took (as I had ordered 3 different lengths)

I know but they were less expensive than the few other places I checked and figured if they screwed it up I would have some leverage.
I am guessing they are saying it also voids your powertrain warranty? Or are they one of the few "cool" dealers?

I ended up checking with my dealer and they had me call Stellantis/Ram regarding any warranty issues and Stellantis told me would not void the warranty on the truck, only that they would not warranty the new parts. The dealer would not do the work if Stellantis had said it would void the full warranty. The key is that it does not add additional HP, only that it makes full use of what the truck has by reducing the heat soak. In the end, it is really a 1” gasket versus a very thin gasket.

100% that's correct, just a thicker gasket, engine isn't doing anything it isn't already capable of doing you are just giving it a way better fighting chance of doing it without all the heat issues and the factory boost leak.

FYI customer with a 10% lower and 2.65 upper was using a K100586 and now with the 1" spacers is using a K100594HD

K100586 effective length 1490mm
K100594HD effective length 1509mm (19mm longer - would say this is on the high side of the range of belt increase)

Tensioner placement is good roughly in the middle of the tension window.

So how did you make out with dealer install? Any hiccups? This is my next mod for sure.

They are not done yet - had them doing a few other odds and ends. I suspect will be done sometime tomorrow. Will let you all know
Got the truck back this morning, only had a chance to drive from the dealer to my office, in heavy traffic, so cannot yet comment too much on what I see yet. I did note two things
1.) I had to turn down the sensitivity setting of my Banks Pedal Monster as after SC spacer install, it seemed way more sensitive
2.) The IC temps hovered around 100 degrees. While I did not pay a lot of attention prior to install, I believe it was higher prior to install.

More to come as I drive it some more
