Ram TRX Supercharger Spacers

I am getting ready to purchase the 1” spacer package and reached out to a shop in the Nashville, TN area to do the install, I don’t believe I want to tackle it. Was quoted $1k in labor, they said about six hours. They do a lot with the Hellcat platform, so that may be correct but seems like six hours for a shop is a couple more than I would have thought, time wise. Thoughts appreciated - thanks

3min job LOL

Given the height difficulty it's about a 3hr job, obviously this depends on how fast they work, it should be done in under 4hrs.
If a shop like the above video is very proficient and knows exactly where all the bolts are for every little clip, anything else in the way etc, it can probably be knocked out correctly in 2.5hrs. The above video they are all in deep and ready to go so it's not really 3min.

I think $1k is reasonable on the TRX. The Challenger or Charger is quite a bit easier simply due to the accessibility of the supercharger. I would definitely not let just any shop do it. And as you said this shop you are looking at has hellcat experiences so that’s good.

Yes you can add it to a stock TRX, no tune is required.
As the spacers are essentially a thick gasket in layman terms this should not void any warranty as it hasn't done anything to the engine as such.
Obviously that would be up to your dealer, but in reality, it is a just a thicker gasket made of a really good material and the design also fixes the factory boost leak.

Combined with better cooling and the boost leak being fixed you will see a gain in power and the blower will go from burn your hand hot to luke warm as per the video comparison.
I just ordered. I ended up checking with my dealer and they had me call Stellantis/Ram regarding any warranty issues and they told me would not void the warranty on the truck, only that they would not warranty the new part. My dealer said they would do the install for $726.26 USD out the door, so I’m gonna let them do it.

Nice dude!

I've been thinking of going with that dayco belts. This belt is 1485.90 and 1486 is recommended. Again, this is for a stock pulley set up. I found this belt from a hellcat Challenger forum. A lot of guys are using these spacers and dayco belts seems to be pretty popular with them. Just some input if others are about to take on this project.
Found this one that may be an option?

Ended up ordering this one, seemed like one of the better matches for the OE pulley set up

The 100579(1472mm effective length) is the stock TRX belt. I would recommend having a Gates K100586HD(1490mm effective length) on hand as this belt is 18mm longer than stock and should be the closest to ideal fit. Some of these manufacturer's only list outside diameter. The gates website show's good comparison on each belt for K100 series(10rib) fleet runner belts. The K100586HD is the next size up from Gates from the stock belt.

I think that belt is going to be the exact same size as the stock belt.

Thanks. If the stock belt is 1472 mm and need 14mm longer would be 1486 mm or 58.5 inches. The belt I ordered is 58.52 inches, I was thinking it was spot on, but like you indicated it may be the outside diameter. I will order a Gates K100586HD like you suggested to be safe. Thanks again

The original OEM belt is 68207171AD

The cross reference for aftermarket for the stock belt is:
GATES: K100579HD
GATES: K100579
DAYCO: 5100580
CONTINENTAL AG: 4100578

You need to be 14mm longer than this, you are best to go with:
AC Delco 88932967
This belt is 1509mm which is only .97mm to long or (0.038") too long so it will work very well.

Do you recommend this one over the gates ? Figure that’s the closest one if I want to run stock pulleys. I’m going to make a purchase of your 1” spacers. Have you considered a group buy?

Personally I would go with whatever brand of belt is the closest match in the required size you need.

Looks like it’s AC Delco 88932967

I cant seem to find where to order the AC delco. I just placed the order for the spacers and the blanket.
