Ram TRX Supercharger Spacers

Forgot to show that using small binder clips to hold the bolts up so they aren’t sticking through the spacers is an easy way to hold up the rear 3 bolts on each side which must be inserted prior to landing the SC in place.(stock bolt shown, cause I just went out in garage to mock up a pic)
Very cool idea

More data, going to work this morning my intake temp ran +19F over ambient. Never been close to that on a 17 mile trip to work. Ambient was 59-60F. Air intake temp was 79 when I got to work. That would have been 99-100F prior to 1” spacer. Also did a 3 gear rip at my normal spot this evening and intake was 140F at end of pull and ambient was 87F. That’s a delta of 53F. This is normally 67-73F delta.

Fresh batch of 1" just came off the CNC machine yesterday, in stock and ready to ship.

Very cool, thank you for the updates :)

I'm noticing much lower IATs as well. It's been in the low 90s here and I'm around 110-120 cruising around.

To be fair, I also have the 3-gallon reservoir and my OEM coolant pump that moves 11gpm all the time now lol.

Thanks for the review and feedback, really glad you are enjoying them, they certainly do make it run much colder.
What length belt is needed (saw it somewhere but now can’t find it) if truck is bone stock and only adding 1” spacers ?

Bone stock is a 100579 belt. Validate that. Go +14mm on the length. Get on the gates website. Fleet runner belt. I have a 2.85 pulley and stock crank pulley and my belt was shorter. I was running a 572 and +14 was a 578 for me. Worked perfect. So you +14 from the 579 belt. My scratch list doesn’t go to your level but you see the desk idea. 😆 You would need 1486mm belt not listed on my sticky. Ha

14mm (0.55") longer belt is required with the 1" spacers.
Once you know your stock length you can easily find the belt required.

I got this straight from Gates. They highlighted the stock size(1472mm). So as a143gsxr mentioned above a stock truck would need 1486mm but gates only has 1478 and then 1490. What do you guys think, go with the 1478mm?

My thoughts are for sure buy both. I got mine on Amazon. You could return one. My gut would say you will use the 1490. But while you have the supercharger out of the truck, I would recommend at least installing the metco quick change pulley shaft even if you just buy the griptec stock size pulley. If you ever decide to add power in the future the labor of pulling the supercharger is the most expensive and time consuming part of power/pulley upgrade. Just a thought.

Great tip. Will do. Thanks

**Possibly wrong information do not use this info keep scrolling down at other posts**

Worked this out for someone in a PM, here are the details for you guys:

Stock belt is PN: 100579
Belt Length (in.):
58.52
Belt Length (mm): 1494.03

You need to be 14mm longer than this, you are best to go with:
AC Delco 88932967
This belt is 1509mm which is only .97mm to long or (0.038") too long so it will work very well.

The next size belt I can find is 10.92mm extra length so a little tight it is:
AC delco 19311086
This belt is 1504.95mm which is as said 10.92mm extra so not quite 14mm longer but only 3.08mm short or (0.121") short.

In the gates belts you can use:
K100594 this belt is 1509mm which is only .97mm to long or (0.038") too long so it will work very well.
Or you can use the same belt in the heavy duty style which is K100594HD

This info is not all correct. Be sure you are comparing apples to apples. Look at effective length on the belts. The 100579 has an effective length of 1472 (you listed 1494 above, not accurate) and the 100594 has an effective length of 1509. Thats +37mm over stock. the 100594 will not work.

Was just going to write that. I had to triple check my findings and the above is wrong. 1472mm is on Gates site. So guys would need 1486mm (+14mm).

I would assume then that this is correct?

Stock 100579 info is here - 1494.03mm

AC Delco 88932967 - 1509mm

I've been thinking of going with that dayco belts. This belt is 1485.90 and 1486 is recommended. Again, this is for a stock pulley set up. I found this belt from a hellcat Challenger forum. A lot of guys are using these spacers and dayco belts seems to be pretty popular with them. Just some input if others are about to take on this project.

Maybe the AC Delco belts are thicker and they are measuring the outside diameter. We are gonna need some more feedback. Only thing I know for sure is the stock gates belt is 1472mm effective length. Only time I’ve seen something as big at the 100594(1509mm) on a hellcat motor is if they are running a crank sleeve like Ripa or FAS. I’m running a gates 100578 with 1” spacer and 2.85 upper pulley. So I’m still on a shorter than stock belt.

The original OEM belt is 68207171AD

The cross reference for aftermarket for the stock belt is:
GATES: K100579HD
GATES: K100579
DAYCO: 5100580
CONTINENTAL AG: 4100578

This is how and why I have looked at the 100579 on summit, looked at the "advertised" length and then added 14mm
I believe the belt lengths I provided before given this info are all correct.

I bet there is no one running these 1” spacers on a stock pulley setup. So we need one of you guys to get hot so we know the dang belt part number ! 😆
