Just checked, I have the old springs. Best I can measure it is 3/4” different from left to right. Now that is without me in it. I’m 6’2” and 300lbs I cause it to lean enough by myselfI have 2022 built November also. I just measured 3/4 down on the right side
Hey Folks -

The lean (and resulting fix) has nothing to do with defective springs. Ram just didn’t size them appropriately for the weight distribution on the TRX.with all the garbage made in china would not surprise me if the springs are too.bring production back to america.
I've had my "new" springs on for about a month. No issues to date.I also have a 22 built in November, have the old springs and leaning what looks to be about an inch or so no matter the fuel level. I will eventually take it in, just hoping they don’t f up anything during the swap.
Did you notice any difference in how it rides/drives?I've had my "new" springs on for about a month. No issues to date.
Rides exactly like it did from factory. Really the only difference is that the driver's side lean is gone. Fully leveled (almost) now.Did you notice any difference in how it rides/drives?
Hi,I have a 22’ built in late December and picked it up last week.
I had asked the dealer to verify it doesn’t have the lean….but I should have measured it.
Drivers front: 39.75”
Passenger front: 40.375
A .625” difference
Drivers rear: 41.25”
Passenger rear: 41”
Not as bad as the 1.5” lean some have complained about. Taking it into the dealer on the 10th to have this looked at. The quality person must be friends with Jack Daniels. My truck has a defective Uconnect screen, a rattle in the dash that is pretty loud, scratches in the paint, missing the air cover that says TRX and has scratches in both rear fenders @RamCares
How long did this repair take? TIAJust installed my 1st set the other day.
Its not that RAM doesnt care, its likely about parts allocation. If the springs are in short supply, RAM would allocate them to NEW truck before allowing them to become part of their repair parts inventory.I have had springs ordered at my dealer for 3 months and they finally called me 2 days ago and said that they had all the parts to do the spring swap to fix the lean. my truck is leaning around 1.5" and it really bothers me.
I took my truck over and dropped it off yesterday at the dealer to get the springs swapped and a few minutes ago I received a text saying that the springs that they received are the exact ones that are already on the truck and the ones that we need are on major backorder.
This is SO FRUSTRATING...........
Where is RAMCARES??????????
Maybe so but when I spend $90k for a truck, I expect it to be right, and they should make it right before using all the parts on trucks that they are currently building. Its not that RAM doesnt care, its likely about parts allocation. Had the new springs for a couple of weeks. The lean is gone and the truck rides fine. Dealer kept the truck for1.5 days but the Work order said it was a 3 hour job. They gave me a loaner so it was all good. If it bothers you, get it fixed!Just checked, I have the old springs. Best I can measure it is 3/4” different from left to right. I think if I was 150-200 lbs I might just let it go but this is a 90k truck- it should be level.
I just checked my wife’s 2016 Mercedes GLE and it is perfect. I know, go ahead and say it.
Weird so far the 3 trucks I have done it to are pretty much perfect. It would be interesting to know your spring part numbers at each corner.Had mine fixed at dealer two weeks ago. Dealer first said they didn’t know if they would do it because it works on some trucks and not others replacing the springs. It’s a great dealer so they did go ahead and try. I went from 1 1/2 inch difference to about a 3/4 to 1 inch lean. Less noticeable but still there. Not enough to concern me at this point. Excited to see what Eibach or Geiser comes out with to see if it rectifies this and gives a small 2 inch or so lift that doesn’t impact too much spring travel.
