Yeah I know and I prefer to buy from the Borg too but Im just saying the company has probably made way more money from this one thread directly off of their site than they ever did with product just sitting in a Amazon warehouse and probably is fulfilling all of those direct orders instead of restocking on Amazon. The "referral" aka commission fees, storage fees, fulfillment fees can completely erode any profit.

Dash cams are pretty much a necessity nowadays and with how easy this one installs, the quality of it, and even the price, you should definitely check it out. I think the model B is already out. Model A will be available shortly. Don’t know why they made a B before A. I showed a coworker mine and he went to order one from the website and they told him he would need a model A. He has a 21 ram non trx.

I think model A is for the 23 RAMs without the camera in the mirror. Just a guess. I did order directly and they emailed me to get a picture to make sure they send what I need.

Had no desire to get a dash cam but with this thread it just makes complete sense. Someone ought to make them a sponsor of the forum lol

Yeah model A is for other RAMS that are NOT TRX's. If you have a TRX you want a model B

Just to set the record straight, for anyone reading this in the future. Models A and B are not trim-dependent. It’s about whether the truck has the large mirror housing. I believe all Limiteds have it, as well as many Laramies and Rebels.

A base TRX doesn’t have that housing while a lvl2 will.

The level 1 and level 2 trucks both have the bigger housing. The TRX in general will have the bigger housing.
