It does record all the time with the ignition in the on position.....I switched the sd card to 128gb and put the camera on a 10 minute loop. I have an android phone and the fitcam app works fine so far.

10 min loop sounds legit. I've got a 128 sd waiting as well. Did you get the dual cam version or just the 1?

Just curious why a 10 min loop time? Why not just let it run? I have never had a car cam.

It breaks the recording up into 10-minute files - rather than one giant file. It will still fill the SD card to capacity, then automatically start overwriting the oldest file.

So you'll still have, let's say arbitrarily, 8 hours of recording, but that will be across 48 10-minute files - all timestamped, of course.

easy install bro thank you making the video, was having a juggle the plasic back into the trim wouldnt clip all the way but fugged around with it and got it somehow lol, I have a 200GB sd card sucks i cant use that on here as it max rated for 128gb

You are very welcome! This thing is 1 million times easier than a normal dash cam to install but the piece of plastic you’re talking about definitely takes some finesse
