Official Driveline Clunk Service Repair

Mine is going again today for the 3rd time for the "clunk" issue...

That's ridiculous, it doesn't work and it's wasting your time!
Not wasting my time. I just have them do it when I drop off for an oil change. If it needs to be done in between then I do myself. A nuisance and I hate Stellantis for it… this will be my last product I ever buy from them.

my "clunk" went away when i changed out the springs this wknd
Mine did at first to then it came back 5-6 months later. I'm going in for my first grease kit soon. My truck is MY21 LVL2

Mine has been in twice. New driveline the first time. Fancy lube job the second time. To me it’s more about documentation than actual fix at this time.

This^^^ is exactly my thoughts for if and or when RAM/Stelantis is forced to actually do something about this we have documentation for this ongoing issue.

Tech noticed on his own when I took it in for a steering issue and replaced the shock for the rear axle. So far don’t feel the clunk as much but it’s still there.

What have they done x3 times ? Let me guess didn't hear it.
they have " ordered parts" and " fixed" it, 2 months later it comes back...

Which springs did you go with? Did you do the ride height recalibration? I have the dealer swapping my springs for Ebiach (1.5/1.6) this week.. Hoping it helps as well..

Springs aren't going to solve the drive shaft clunk, maybe they lubed it. Hopefully it stays away.

eibach springs and they have not been recalibrated yet. I will probably wait to get that next time I'm at the dealership. It rides really good as it is now.

My plan was to recal after 2k miles letting them settle.

well Just got back from talking to the service advisor , he told me the 2nd time the truck was there they installed a new driveshaft, but since its making it again they called chrysler and are waiting on their "input", also getting a new steering wheel :).

Wondering if they installed the latest version of the Driveshaft, or a new older stock that was warehoused somewhere.. Look under and snap a pic of the Part Number Label.
