New screen with update?

I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with 10 different transfers and nobody at ram cares or uconnect or customer service knows anything about this situation with the programming. So how the hell do we get it fixed?
Just got off the phone with uconnect and the rep said he has heard nothing about this update with RHO stuff in it . He told me to default my radio and it would all go back to the way it was 😂!!!

Unfortunately the update forced itself upon my truck. Standard affair with lag, dogshit displays, and I'm still missing half my screen gauges like boost and afr. This update was weeks ago so it's not going to fix itself.

This is not good, been feeling they are trying to force it on mine. What the hell @RamCares you said this update was stopped, care to explain this?

It's acting strange, but the build number still shows T27.46 I think. For those intrrested, my screen is not shutting off after I turn the truck off and open the door. Might not have anything to do with the update
My 2022 was doing that as well.

Ramcares said the update was paused on Friday. Lowpsi said his updated weeks ago.
Guess I read that wrong, to me it just pulled it on him today and wondering why when the update came out weeks ago and was stopped. Regardless this is fucked!

Well… my truck got the update as well. 2022, UC5… posted this about a week ago on a FB page and the advice was wait and see if it gets better on its own.. spoiler alert, it didn’t. I have hard reset the radio, factory reset the radio, disconnected the battery overnight… nothing. It is constantly bad and always boots up in the same garbage way:

Text clipping over itself, data fields missing… and no sport mode from the UC5 screen. Interestingly enough, I still have the hellcat graphic, never saw the RHO engine design on the drive modes pages as some of you have, but all my text, data options, and horsepower specs went to the RHO model.

Misery loves company? I feel a lot better knowing it’s not just me, but this is totally, completely unacceptable. This is a $100k vehicle I bought and paid for, I expect the main screens and performances pages to work and match my model truck or be able to opt out of them if I don’t want them. I don’t mean to sound dramatic but if this doesn’t get resolved, and soon, this will be my last vehicle from Ram.

Can I get a rebate for paying for a 12 in screen/ radio/ v8 pictures/ trx sticker and emblems
I'm beginning to wonder if this ram cares person is just a troll because nobody knows anything when you call the actual ram cares
no dought it’s definitely a sham

This has to be the result of DEI hires. Instead of meaningful updates like fullscreen Android Auto (and Apple). We get useless shit taking away things and making it slower.

Mine still hasn't updated thankfully. It popped up a week ago and I ignored it. Hasn't come back since. I still get the Uconnect box error.

I see no reason to update our trucks until they can fix problems without introducing new issues.

I suppose Stellantis took this away. But I have been known to escalate things to a regional manager who then opened a star case on my behalf. This was due to the dealer updating the Uconnect on our 2015 Durango without asking me. This made the sound quality shit. They eventually fixed.

I also had issues with our current 21 Durango SRT when it was delivered. I contacted the SRT team (when Dodge still had them). Looking back I should have refused it. They did end up fixing it and offered a few other things.

Has anyone on here escalated things with their dealer, regional manager, SRT team? I realize the SRT team is gone. The regional managers are probably gone too. And the dealers are not helpful.

Oh and Ram cares is part of the woke DEI shit.

Whata cluster

Whatever update they did to my 23, the system is non-stop freezing and rebooting mid driving the truck. Might need to look at doing a factory reset or something. And come on man, DEI hires? Do you even know what DEI is? You sound woke and very educated if that was a real statement.

Everybody is having problems. Resets do nothing. It's the wrong update plain and simple and they aren't going to fix it. It would have been fixed by now. The update has been out since August 2024.

Designated erroneous imbecile!

Unfortunately my suspicion is that the only way this will get fixed is via legal action or finding the previous software build in the wild to fix ourselves.

This situation may satisfy CFAA burden requirements. There's precedent from Bowen v. Porsche Cars N.A. 2021, where Porsche botched an OTA update and had to fix/pay.

Uconnect ToS allow for OTA updates (unfortunately) however accidental or botched software deliveries can be interpreted as a violation of access "exceeding authorized access".

Would hope things would not have to go here but seems to be only way companies fix anything now. Makes no sense just fix what you all did! Has anyone who call Ram received an answer or a eta on possible fix? Who has gone to their dealer and asked about this? They should have flash software and all the update files. Not to mention the proper interface to remove added software. Them saying thay can take it back of just pull the bad code is bullshit. This is what tuners do. I know Ram, Dodge locks stuff now but this is them they are not locked out and to say so is a boldface bullshit lie!

The answer I got from Uconnect software dept was that the download hasn't completed. It takes time to fully load...I SAID NO, ITS THE GOT A PIC OF THE WRONG TRUCK...ITS WRONG... She said well that's what my tech department says
