We wanted to provide a follow up to everyone since there have been some further questions.
This update was paused last Friday 4/25/25. Your radio may have already downloaded the update before that time, but if you have been regularly driving the vehicle in areas with decent cellular coverage, the pop-up alerting you to an update would likely have already popped up by now.
We appreciate those who want to share their VINs as it can be helpful when investigating and diagnosing specific concerns that may not be affecting all customers/radios, or if we need to create a Customer Care case to assign an agent to follow up with you. However, we understand that others may not want to share it. We ask for private messages to protect your privacy -- but no one should ever feel they have to provide anything.
Since we are part of the Customer Care organization, we cannot speculate on the exact fix until it is finalized, nor do we take part in the process to create the fix. We appreciate the understanding from all of you on the forum that we are here to relay your concerns and complaints as quickly as possible back to our corporate engineers to ensure resolutions, but that we cannot speak to the exact internal processes that may include investigations, reviews, diagnostics, design, and approvals.
