New screen with update?

Did they push another update in the last few weeks? My wireless Carplay won't connect after working perfectly fine since October after I did a factory reset. I don't really drive this truck that much anymore and now it's aggravating every time I get in it because of some sort of software issue. I've had a Sirius XM trial message that WON'T go away on startup until you press the red x. It'll sit there indefinitely until you do it. The rest of the screen is dark and not readable until you clear the message. Ram really fucked this truck up with the software updates. The thing is pretty much unusable.

I got some kind of update a few weeks ago…. Now I cannot even access the performance pages, I push the button it goes right back to the home screen

Also can’t access the gauge screen on the Home Screen anymore. It’s getting worse not better
@RamCares please tell the team to stop pushing updates out without testing.

Yeah I couldn't get the performance pages to work at all after I did a factory reset back in October. My wireless carplay worked flawless so I figured it was a decent trade off. Then last week and this week my wireless carplay doesn't work again. Just did a factory reset this morning. I don't have an option to get my camera shortcut button up top unless I'm missing it. I can't load some settings screens. Carplay worked after I did a soft restart on my phone after pairing it and setting up carplay again. I can't find the option to set my background to something other than straight up black. Things look sort of different than they were. I have to play around with it later today when I have more time. This entire process is so aggravating. I've never seen updates make functionality worse and break/remove features in a car. My other vehicles gain little improvements to UI speed or some behind the scenes tweaks that make things run smoother. Or they add new functionality. The most amazing part is they don't break things. If they did I can't imagine they'd take a year to fucking fix it.

Same. No performance page anymore. I have a feeling it will continue getting worse until they bring the Uconnect IT team back stateside. At this point they have to know there is a problem with the current team. At least I hope so.

The Uconnect and FOTA team always aims to roll out updates with the best success rate possible and the least number of concerns or new frustrations. I understand that performance concerns still occur. Are you able to at least control the drive modes now?

It's the same as before. I'll click "Custom" or "Sport" and it'll light up and change in the cluster but change back in the main display. I haven't tried to customize the custom setting since the reset.

While it’s nice that you respond to our complaints but, nothing has been fixed and it been over a year. I have a 2022 with extended warranty. At this point I’m going to be making daily visits to the dealer for documentation and will be forced to get it lemoned. This truck only has 14k miles.
On one of my trips I lost my CarPlay and maps. I had to exit and shut off my CarPlay and disconnect my phone from Bluetooth. This was a couple hundred miles from home. Stellantis decision to basically go the cheap route and not providing proper customer care.

Patience? I've been dealing with 35.26 issues since August. Im sure other for longer. Never a quality response. NEVER A FIX. Just continuious bouncing screens etc.
 
So two recalls recently and nothing for us. I've been in rams since the 90s. Everyone brand has issues but how did we get and stay this bad 🙈.

Said it once and I’ll say it again. There really needs to be correction or a class action lawsuit.
It’s starting to feel like if this were fixable it would have been resolved by now.

While I understand that testing and validation take time, and it’s good they’re doing it, this is stretching well beyond what seems reasonable. It suggests either a lack of sufficient resources from RAM/Stellantis or Uconnect is simply FUBAR'd with no straightforward fix.

I could fix it in one day if I had access to the tools to do so, and I’ll do it for free. There are thousands of US based former employees that could do it in a hour. The stellantis technology hub in Bengaluru India is scamming the company but they haven’t figured it out yet.
 
I'm curious. When you guys edit your HUD, does the configuration persist after shutdown? or are you constantly having to go back and change the settings because they reverted to default?

Same goes for Drive modes. Mine always defaults to AUTO, however, I have seen sometimes I will start up my truck and its ready to go in Baja mode.

I like mine to be set as "advanced". It will randomly reset to the basic setting (I'm not sure of the actual name of the basic setting). Sometimes it will go weeks without issue, other times it will revert within a day or two. For me, this has happened since I've owned the truck and predates the issues listed in this thread.

Thank you; this confirms a few hypotheses I've had about this whole mess.
 
Been getting the “dancing” screen lately and lots of restarts when backing up. Should definitely be a recall on this as my Lexus LX700 just sent out a recall for a software error that causes the rear view camera to freeze or display a blank screen.
