New screen with update?

I'm already PISSED! Has anyone started a lawsuit? I did discuss with a lawyer. He said as long as Ram is attempting to fix the issue it would be very hard to win. Unless someone is injured/killed due to this issue. Hope it's fixed before that happens.

I reach out to a lemon law lawyer. They said it takes months from stellantis they are the worse manufacturer to deal with. I am looking for class action type stuff if anyone finds one. 8 months with HUD issues, my screen glitching, and basically no car play.

I don't think we will get this fixed!!!

How about offering some compensation back to the owners of the vehicles.

We are continuing to report the issues customers are facing due to the update and waiting on timing we can share for when the solution will be validated and distributed via AOTA for all those affected. We are also expecting FOTA radio software updates for the issues customers here and elsewhere have experienced beyond the graphics and HP problems that surfaced last April.

2024 not last April. And that was when people finally got fed up with the problems.
So let’s say 2023.

3 years… that’s the entire warranty for a vehicle.

Again. You are loosing potential new sales.

I would like to reiterate what @Fifty said. For some of us this started all the way back summer/fall 2024. Before whatever that POS software update was everything worked perfect. I believe that's why this is so frustrating. It worked as intended and now it doesn't because RAM forced it upon us for no reason and has not done a damn thing to remedy what should be an easy fix.

Three years to correct a seemingly easy issue is unacceptable and a joke. Have 3 Mopars in the garage. There will not be a fourth.

Jumped into the truck to head out and run some errands. Pulled up the gauge screen and whoa page 1 of 2. Cycled to the second page and all was well. Within 10 mins the screen blipped and went from single gauge screen to the split screen gauge/map. And back to the single page of gauges. I’m at a loss as I’m sure you all are too. 🤬 @RamCares

@RamCares this is embarrassingly being fumbled. Our screens are literally crap and yall don’t care. Maybe we need to start sending Tim letters on when they’ll bring out a fix 🫣

I had AI summarize all 68 pages. Does this look like issues you guys have faced? I'm going to talk to Kuniskis personally about these issues

August 2024

  • Degraded Performance Pages UI: The update replaced the original interface with smaller, off-center icons that owners found visually inferior to the factory software.
  • Startup Error: A persistent "Uconnect error" message began appearing on the screen every time the truck was turned on.

April – May 2025

  • Incorrect Vehicle Graphics: The screen began displaying a 6-cylinder "RHO" or Hurricane engine image instead of the TRX's Hellcat V8.
  • Broken Drive Modes: Custom drive modes visually reverted to "Auto" on the screen, and the physical TRX button stopped functioning properly.
  • Volume Knob Lag: The radio volume would go haywire, taking 10 to 15 seconds to respond to physical knob turns.
  • CarPlay Disconnects: Apple CarPlay started dropping randomly, forcing users to completely remove and re-pair their phones to the truck.
  • Persistent Widgets: Alexa widget apps refused to disappear from the home screen even after being deselected as favorites.
  • Climate Graphic Glitch: The steering wheel heater icon displayed three bars on the main screen but only one bar on the shortcut menu.

August 2025

  • Missing Gauge Pages: The second page of digital gauges completely disappeared, requiring multiple manual radio resets to get it to load.
  • Incorrect HP & Torque Limits: The power graphs capped horsepower at 500 or 520 instead of 702, and torque randomly displayed in Newton Meters instead of Ft-lbs.
  • Wrong Supercharger Icons: A turbocharger icon replaced the supercharger icon on the boost gauge, and a random "screw" icon appeared on the I/C coolant gauge.
  • Graph Scale Errors: The power and torque graph scales shrunk from 1500 down to 750 or 850, making them visually inaccurate for the truck's output.
  • RPM Tracker Failure: The gear tracker on the RPM recording graph became inconsistent and failed to track gear changes.
  • Audio Output Bugs: The radio would glitch and occasionally only play audio out of the front center channel speaker.
  • Lethargic AC Controls: The climate control system began putting out very low air unless the temperature was manually cranked down below 70 degrees.
  • Apple Music Stutter: CarPlay audio specifically using Apple Music started cutting out for a split second during almost every drive.

October – November 2025

  • Piercing Audio Freeze: The Uconnect system began locking up entirely while emitting a loud, continuous beep through all speakers until the ignition was turned off.
  • Forced Cluster Navigation: Apple CarPlay directions became permanently stuck in the digital gauge cluster, overriding the driver's preferred media displays.
  • Infinite Loading Screens: Accessing the Performance Pages resulted in a continuous spinning circle or an immediate crash back to the CarPlay interface.

January – February 2026

  • Black Screen Crashes: The screen started going completely black while driving, removing all access to HVAC, defrost, and seat controls.
  • Loss of Backup Camera: Because of the frequent black screens, drivers lost all access to the federally mandated rear-view camera when shifting into reverse.
  • Random Reboots: The entire infotainment center began spontaneously shutting down and rebooting itself while the truck was in motion.
  • HUD Downgrades: The Heads Up Display (HUD) became glitchy, and the fonts and gauges were noticeably smaller and harder to read.

+ Factory Navigation only shows in the driver's cluster at first start of the day. Any start after that the navigation in the cluster shows a blue screen.

I’m glad you put the black screen in there. It seems to be happening more and more as the “updates” came out.

It's not just Carplay, it's also Android Auto; there are random stutters, skips, and disconnections. Going 30 minutes without some kind of hick-up is a minor miracle.
