New screen with update?

WTF is a dancing screen? If anyone has photos and clips of any radio issues, share them with me. If you want, you can narrate the issue so Ram knows when I talk to their engineers

1 - Video of buzzing noise from radio at vehicle start-up which leads to a head unit restart. During the restart nothing works including back-up camera. This can last anywhere from 15 seconds up to two minutes. Luckily I didn't have the volume up very high when I turned the truck off as the buzzing noise blares at the last set volume and isn't controllable when it starts.

2 - Video of dancing screen with missing lower tray buttons. Without the lower tray buttons you have lost control of all those items (Media, Comfort, Phone, Nav, Vehicle, Apps, etc....) Pressing the manual fan buttons on left of the screen can on occasion snap the radio back, but not always.

3 - 2nd vehicle start of the day with dancing screen and locked up NAV in driver's cluster. This happens like clockwork; every start after the initial start of the day.

Hope these help and we all REALLY appreciate any help you can provide. at this Point RamCares and Stellantis have given zero fu¢k$.

I received some OTA updates last week. It didn't fix a thing for me. The dealership wants to charge me my $100 deductible to reprogram it. At this point, I'm so tired of this issue, I'm ready to pay it. The real conundrum is why Ram would screw up the software with OTA updates when everything was working fine in the first place.

Yeah that showed up on my truck last Friday, I believe. It is good that they are pushing out updates over the air, however, it is just a shame it is not the updates anyone wants….

The dealer can’t do anything for you. But they can take your $100. Just the fact they would do that would make me move on to a different dealer.

The only thing you can do is find a used radio that hasn’t been updated in 2 years, install it, and rip the telematics box out of the truck (it’s buried deep behind the dash, the whole dash has to come out to get to it) so the unit can’t talk to Ram over WiFi or Internet (so it will never automatically update)….. good luck.

-Pajeet from india changes uconnect graphics to RHO
-Pajeet sens OTA Updates with new constant crashing/freezing/rebooting feature (my favorite)
-Pajeet wants to deliver ADs direct to your finger tips which are free from crashes and freezing

Make sure the ADs are nice and fast. I don't want any latency when they get delivered

...AND this piece of crap icon can't be removed. I use a usb key for music, and that is where the song name was listed. So literally they deleted a function to replace it with this crap! I'm glad we can vent here, but it is really getting to the point of no return.

Something tells me when new TRX comes out all RHO’s will be showing TRX everywhere, including showing the HC engine.
