New screen with update?

I'm curious. When you guys edit your HUD, does the configuration persist after shutdown? or are you constantly having to go back and change the settings because they reverted to default?

Same goes for Drive modes. Mine always defaults to AUTO, however, I have seen sometimes I will start up my truck and its ready to go in Baja mode.

I can select other drive modes and the system will stay in that mode but the screen goes back to Auto. I can only change custom settings in Auto. I'm also having a problem with the Bluetooth disconnecting from my phone. The last few months have been hell.

I just wanted to say @RamCares I bought my final edition trx cash and now I bought my next bimmer cash too.
The issues i had with ram at this price point while fun to rip in AZ desert were too much and i said goodbye.
replaced with an alpina xb7 so im probably not the same user with the awesome trx offroad power but i couldnt stomach the nonstop issues buying new final edition in 24-26. Had a great dealer who took care of me.
In garages have an m8 competition, ferrari california, aston vantage, indian motorcycles, and blah blah blah. plenty of realistic sports fun. hell i think the 392 jeep gave me less issues but its arugable.
whatever, just to say daily capable American you lost a customer and i'll piss on your rep.

Not that I dont like using a camera, but I still 99 percent of the time don't rely on a back up camera unless I slept wrong and have a sore neck

Old video, but illiterates a malfunctioning backup camera. I’ll see if I can find the cabin camera footage of the back up camera freezing and follow up.

We have officially launched the app-over-the-air (AOTA) update to fix the MY22-24 TRX graphics issues from last April. This will include the HP gauge inaccuracies and other screen sizing issues, along with correction to the TRX graphics from the incorrect RHO graphics.

As is our policy, the launch occurs with a small group to start and we will continue to build to the full affected population over the next two to three weeks (subject to change). Additionally, a reminder that AOTA updates are 'silent' and there is no prompt on the radio screen. The changes will be noticeable, once completed, when the vehicle is started.

We are not able to immediately predict when each VIN will receive the update, BUT we will keep you informed as we roll out more updates to more VINs and if we can provide more specific timing guarantees.

Good luck finding a way. I'm sure if that was an option we would have already heard about it.

You can do the whole telematics delete, but would still need an older radio running software your okay with.

As @2021HBTRX said, all you have to do is remove the telematics box and it will not update. @slivoman is on the old, non-fucked up version, so this might be a worthwhile project for him.

Started getting a new (for me) problem today. Carplay directions (utilizing google maps) displaying in the hud and gauge cluster continuously blink, like the display is continuously updating or something.

What is the latest version? Mine is showing FCA-MY24.U35.26-PROD Not sure if I have gotten the latest update?

You will not see a version change - AOTA's don't update the main Uconnect software, they just update individual apps. At least, that's what RamCares says.
