Mopar Extended Warranty

I've been told by my MVP rep that the TRX will be excluded due to being in the SRT family.
Interesting.. when I contacted Ziegler asking for exclusions, they made no mention of SRT family exclusions or restrictions. I’ll give them a call on Monday and ask specifically about.

Lol, lucky!! Mine does show ship date of 03/08. But im still D1, so don't see it happening lol
Your still ok... your build should be around 2 days before your ship date. Good Luck

This is what I based my questioning on. The unlimited plans carry this exclusion clause (first photo) and when you pull the vin in dealerconnect VIP, it shows the (second photo) putting the vehicle into the SRT family.

That's a decent deal. But, I'd have sold the 8yr / 100k MOPAR maxcare for

$100 deductible = $2045
$200 deductible = $1675
Yep. I could have got 8 year 85k Mopar for 2k. I paid 500 more for the extra 15k to get 100k of coverage. I’m ok with it.

Is 75,000 miles, 8 years for bumper to bumper warranty a good deal for $3000?
I have never bought a warranty in the past.

No, it’s not.
Take your time and check out the comments in this thread. You should be able to get 8 years, 100,000 miles, $100 deductible for $2100.00 or a whisker fuzz less.

OkieTRX80 can help you direct.

Save yourself some money.

Man, I was in D1 on Wednesday with a ship date of 2/27 and last night I was in KZ. So there's hope bro. I'm in OKC, purchased from local dealer, planning to buy the extended warranty. DM coming at ya. Thanks for all of the info.

I have never purchased an extended warranty for a vehicle before, but did this time simply because of it being the first year for the TRX and I do plan to keep the truck for a while. I only wanted the Mopar backed MaxCare plan though. From other threads here that seemed to be the best option for the truck, its through Mopar and is accepted at any CDJR dealer. I would like to thank @OkieTRX80 publicly, he posted in another thread about selling the Mopar backed MaxCare warranty at Cost+$100 and even provided the complete price breakdown of all options. I chose the 7yr/125k $100ded plan as that fit my previous couple trucks mileage usage pretty well.

Armed with his information, when I picked my truck up yesterday, the dealer offered a 3rd party plan that didn't match what the Mopar offered and at a higher price. I was able to counter with the exact part number Mopar plan that I wanted and price I would pay. They accepted it on the spot. All deals should be that easy.
Just re-read this post, as I have been thinking about the extended warranty. Never bought one before, but I plan to keep this truck, God-willing, until I can't drive it anymore (then will probably hand down to my son). Hope to take delivery early to mid March and will have this info for my dealer. Thanks!

When I go get mine, hopefully in the next couple of weeks, if my dealer won't match the +$100 plan from Mopar, I will get in touch with @OkieTRX80.

This is my first Ram, so what does this mean? Does it include everything but the engine or there is no extended warranty at all for the TRX?
I would be looking at an 8/100k with a 200, and if I buy the extended warranty, I want to make sure everything is covered including the engine.

Thanks for your help!

The MVP contract is written as "if it is mechanical, it is covered" I firmly believe this is the BEST coverage you'll be able to purchase as it is written and backed by the manufacturer!!

The unlimited contract specifically writes "excludes SRT or hellcat vehicles". With that claus in there, a couple years down the road, in the event you need your warranty, They are able to deny a claim. It was spotted by another member when I made the post, So I asked my MVP rep for clarity. He sought clarification as well and a week later came back and he told me to not put this contract on the TRX, as It is QUESTIONABLE. A week after that, he emailed me again and said that the TRX can not hold the unlimited plan, as it holds an SRT engine. The time / mileage wrap coverages are all you can use on our vehicles.

Also, don't let your dealers lie to you. The lift kit coverage is ONLY needed, if you lift the vehicle after build. You do not need to add that coverage!!

Having had a full Hellcat motor and everything under the hood replaced under factory warranty in my 19 hellcat charger due to an internal failure, it's a must. I put the 84month extended on mine at signing.

The Hellcat Charger warranty work was over $30k covered.

I'll stick to building fast diesels and let the gassers remain under factory power/ warranty.

30k thats an entirely new driveline. Seems a hennessy bill not a dealer one.
