Mopar Extended Warranty

I've never bought an extended warranty either, got the 100k 8 year drive train for 2200. Probably won't have the truck for eight years, but, just in case.

As other's might be interested, I heard a similar quote to Jackson, "8 year, 120k bumper to bumper warranty for about $4,000".

Guess I'll be sending a PM to someone when the truck is built.

I'd like to give a shout out to OkieTRX80, I have never met him, but sent him a message about warranty cost quotes yesterday. He sent me his work number and extension at his dealership, for the Mopar max care extended warranty for 8yr 100k miles that was far cheaper than I have found elsewhere. I finally got to pick up my truck two days ago and the finance manger wouldn't match it or come within $800 of the price. I've stalked this forum for many months, seen a lot of great info from extremely knowledgeable people and the occasional clown, talking out of his ass, but would like to thank OkieTRX80 for being very easy to work with and saving me a good bit of money, for a someone he's never met and only talked to via phone once.

I Appreciate that man!! As an enthusiast, I'm glad I could help for sure and just don't like seeing people get burned by a dealer. It gives us all a bad wrap, lol

Another fella told me his dealer wouldn't come off $5000 over cost. That's just ridiculous!

I'm picking up my truck Saturday and will ask them to match your price. Just to make sure I'm clear your price is 8 year/125k MaxCare with a $200 deductible for $2350, which is $100 over cost, correct?

Quick question.... why this guy and not dealer? I assume better pricing? I have the same question. I am not clear why you would buy an extended warranty from a third part but then I would not spend my money on one to begin with. Still would like to understand the pros vs cons in case I change...

I can’t say enough about OkieTRX80. His helpfulness, his willingness to explain the warranty, and his overall demeanor was outstanding. A pure joy to speak to and work with. Saved me over $1,500 on a 8 year/100,000/$100 extended warranty.

Sounds good!! I'll ALWAYS advocate to buy at home dealer. But, often I'm seeing that they won't budge. Shoot me a message and I'll get you my contact info! I won't be back at the dealer until Monday @ 0700. So, we can handle it then.

Guys, I'd like to also mention that this is NOT a paycheck for me, I make absolutely ZERO dollhairs and It's moreso, just helping out the TRX community where I can. So please limit warranty purchase question exclusive to TRX.

I dont mind helping out where I can but people have been sharing my contact with their brothers cousins sisters ex boyfriend, who has a friend named Tom, looking for a deal on their 2018 Ram with 90,000 miles

Okie, can you just remind me of what the mileage at the top of the columns means again? Maybe I missed this somewhere - never purchased an extended warranty before and want to be sure I have the knowledge I need as I approach the time to make this decision.

Absolutely!!

Looking at that chart.. most of us will fall into the first column, as we have less then 12k miles on our trucks. But if you by some chance have over that, when purchasing your warranty, you'll fall into the 2nd or 3rd column.

Also keep in mind that this is the pricing, as of when I made the original post. I've checked again today, pricing is still the same, but I do NOT have control over any price changes that MVP makes. As My F/I guy did tell me that it is typical for them to increase/decrease monthly based on volume.

I just wanted to say thank you to OkieTRX80 for the extended warranty today. He went over the contract in depth with me and made sure I didn't get screwed by my dealership. It was a pleasure talking to you today and hope you have a blast with your trx when you get it!
