EBC Brakes Announce NEW High Performance Pads

Hopefully soon. I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary of crappy Ram TRX brakes :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
The brakes truly are horrible. Getting tired of the fade and smell.

I have a Hummer EV reserved but I can only imagine it can't stop as well with the same size brakes as the TRX and another 3k lbs to try and stop

Regenerative brakes tend to work better. It'll be just fine. It's amazing the TRX struggles with such large rotors. It has to be the pad compound that is causing the issue.

I just ordered Rotora six piston front calipers and four piston rears in red. The rotors are two piece with aluminum hubs and they are 6mm thicker to deal with the heat. I haven’t even gotten my truck yet but I know it’s going not going to be even close to my Grand Cherokee SRT with Brembos. I’ve gotten so used to how good that stops that anything less I just wouldn’t be happy with it.

My trx is used to:
Haul ass off-road
Sometimes tow dirtbikes
Sometimes tow the kart trailer
And then haul family around when need be.
I’ve used your brakes and pads through many different forms of Motorsport like mx, road course, karting, autox etc.

Hi all,
An update on the ST-Series pads;

Through the final stages of testing we have found the pads have more noise than we are happy with, so there will need to be more tests and adjustments made before we can release them to the public. We sincerely apologize for the delays, I know you all are excited and eager to get some much needed new pads on your TRX's. I am keeping in close contact with the R&D team developing these pads and will keep you updated as and when I know more about them.

I appreciate your patience in this matter.

If you need any more testers, let me know! With 37s, this truck doesn't like slowing down and cooks the pads quickly.

To all of you that are waiting on the new EBC ST sintered pads we have some good news, we have finalized the formula and will be sending the giveaway items to you this week!

They are the most powerful and longest lasting brakes we have ever made but not a low cost pad, for retail will be around $400 a set and will be available soon.

The other new pad we are about to launch is a new uprated version of our ED pads know as ED plus. These pads will be available at under $200 but in terms of longevity are a shade short of the ST range, estimated 15% shorter life but a great strong pad.

We are looking for some people to test these ED plus pads also, and will be offering 5 sets For review to the first people that respond below.

@Dudebro seeing as you asked just a couple weeks ago I would like to offer you the first set if you like?

I will take a set of the Ed plus pads. Is it a set of 4?

I would love to test a set and can install them myself as soon as they're received.

I would love to test them as well! Almost boating season so will be going to the lake and River every weekend towing my 22’ Mastercraft and full load of adults! Thanks if I get the opportunity!

Glad to hear the pads will be shipping out this week! Thanks again for the freebies...now I need to save up $ for the rotors :ROFLMAO:.

What are the chances of slotted rotors?
