Cracked open the HH 15 ... it's at the limit of what I enjoy proof wise and it is delicious. I recommend it.

Then I got hooked up with a bottle of Weller TW pick. People were lining up at 5am to get to it which is so ridiculous. I mean it's decent enough but not worth that kind of effort. Groupthink marketing at its best.

For my fellow Texans, I tried an online order/delivery service (https://finecask.com/) with little hope of actually being able to purchase through them.

I placed an order, fully expecting it to be cancelled due to TX out of state liquor purchasing laws.

Well, I’m glad to say I received my order today, shipped from CA. Says they use a network of retailers, so maybe they have retailers in TX?

Pricing on the site can be all over the place, but I found a tequila I was looking for at list price plus shipping, and it hasn’t been in stock locally (At least until this week! One of my local stores had one on the shelf, of course.)

Went by the store today to pick up the new Batch 11 KW bourbon release.

Out of the blue they randomly received bottle of OF fall 2020 release so scooped that one up too.

That Weller Antique is a gem. The Heaven Hill didn't live up to the hype, IMO, but I know there are quite a few in their line up.

I was thinking about a wheated bourbon like your Weller there when I stumbled across this one. It burned my lips with the heat then I peed my pants and don't remember what happened afterward.
