Hopefully this is a good one....

Cheers.

I believe their 12y/o double casked is one of the best values out there. There 16 is also delicious but anyone who prefers more of a Highland or Speyside type of flavor profile will love the the Aberlour line up.

This has been my “go-to” lately:

My wife was tired of seeing more and more tequila taking her space in the pantry, so 2 weeks ago she said “you just need to get a liquor cabinet” flippantly. Well, don’t have to twist my arm. 😂

Fellas,

Do you know how you stumble across a real gem on occasion? Well I've found a fantastic value in the Elijah Craig Straight Rye which can be found anywhere from $28 to $110 a bottle. I even found a combo with the small batch bourbon that gets you close to $25 a bottle.

If you see this stuff for under $40, I highly recommend you give it a try. It's more of a rye for those that enjoy bourbon and a less intense rye as it's mashbill has one of the highest corn contents you'll see in a rye whiskey. The finish is fantastic and LONG with flavors of butterscotch and subtle cherry. It lacks the powerful oak tones and let's you really get the spice and vanilla notes, similar to a bourbon. It should be far more than $30 a bottle in my opinion. Check it out if you see it. They just delivered their newest run in the past few weeks.

That's what I've got above in that orange box. The guy shouts "Price check on the Don Julio 1942 Primavera" as he mutters "$130 can't be right." She shouts back $130 and I see a range of prices online with some places already charging a few hundred so I grabbed it. Have you tried it yet? I'm thinking mine will get opened very soon. I loved the thought of it being finished in casks of orange wine with a citrus finish so time will tell if we found a good one or not. Either way the bottle is pretty cool and I'm a sucker for cool bottles.

That’s funny. I just happened to be at the store this evening and found a bottle. Think it was $128, and I had the same thought about the price, so I grabbed it. Walked out and saw your post.
Great minds think alike!

Great marketing by Don julio’s peeps..... seems it is everywhere.😉

I can vouch for the one on the right. The Maestro Double Diamond is an excellent sipper!

MCB...... Are your mud flaps struggling to keep up? ;)

Liquor / Wine cabinet with backlighting... that dances.

Just an FYI..... Light oxidizes liquor and wine, albeit at a slow rate, nevertheless you should protect your booze from light. Many wines and some spirits come in a dark bottle just to help you keep the juice protected but if you drink your booze fast and don't really store it. disco lights.... Hellz yeah!
