Now that particular Weller on the other hand.....

Haven't tried that yet. Heard decent reviews from it. That full proof though....

Cracked open the 2020 Shenk's and Bomberger's releases a couple of days ago.

If you're not familiar with them they are a concurrent (they get released at the same time) yearly release by Michter's distillery.

They are not cheap but they are wonderful bourbons, on the level with Pappy 12, and although they get a little marked up they are still a great value at $150 or less.

I also won a 1.75l Weller Special Reserve at the Total Wine lottery ... I am not a great fan of it but it's worth its $49.99 msrp price so it goes in my apocalypse stash as a last resort bourbon.

Must be a different Class Azul bottle, the one I had was like $250.

Got a message from one of my local shops that a “miracle” had appeared in their delivery today, so I grabbed it. Now I’m on the hunt for a much more exclusive variety when it becomes available soon.

Stopped at a local store on the way back to maine from Bos. Scored these, I've had both maple hills, but not the others. the maple hill rye is fantastic.

Another day with some nice local stock. Grabbed another Clase Azul, wish I could find the Anejo, Plata or Durango, but I’ll take what I can find.

Interested to try the Soledad 8, as it’s aged 8 years in “hand selected bourbon barrels for… the perfect collaboration between oak and agave.”

Big American whiskey fan over here, so I thought I's start a thread just so folks can post what they're drinking at any given time.

My current daily rotation includes McKenna 10, Heaven Hill 7, Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel, and Wilderness Trail, and there's some stuff in the back for more special occasions.

You guys can get this rolling cause I'm on the back end of my dry January, so no drink for me till 12:00.01 Feb 1st.

It doesn't have to be bourbon or rye, for the purposes of this thread it can also be Scotch, or Japanese, or whatever other type of whiskey.

As always, pics or we don't believe you.
