Still some work to do but lots of progress over the last couple weeks. @skuppy069 and I (mostly him) have all the buttons and knobs fully working on my truck.

Anyone who winds up doing this swap will really be impressed with this new screen. The size isn’t even the best part. Resolution and black level is awesome compared to the old 12”.

It’s been fun working with you remotely .
I know some evenings we finished up testing ,data logging removing screens back and fourth .
Your feet being frozen afterwards.
All that said it’s been awesome working with you over the last few weeks .
Still a ton to do but we will hopefully get there .

I just posted a full digital cluster in the classifieds .
Mint condition .Comes with conversion harness with all locking keyed connectors .
Also included a canbus module to add tiles and nav option for those who down the road get a uc5 module that is capable of maps and second canbus module for radio .

Thats great news! Sooo...Besides the 14" screen, is their anything else needed for this mod? Want to start preparing and looking for parts.

There is lots to still do as far as switch bank goes .
I need to see if we can retrofit the old switch bank in and make it look decent .

Gotcha - Will the 14.5" screen that already has the aux switch bank not suffice? Or does it have more to do with UC5 software?

No, the 2025 switch bank simply doesn’t work in our trucks. Interestingly the 2025 trailer brake control does. But lacking gain buttons, even it doesn’t do much good until/unless we can get the softkeys working at the bottom of the screen. Basically these are the current obstacles. The pre-2025 switch bank is a different size, shape and also has the park sense buttons integrated into it.

Interesting...Well keep fighting the good fight. Can't wait for you guys to figure this out. Got a chance to check out the screen in my buddy's RHO and the clarity and black levels are for sure much more improved.

Off topic but relevant to the cluster/tiles. Since owning my 2023 I have yet to get the I/C coolant temp tile to stay in the cluster. It goes away after a power cycle/engine restart and is replaced by engine coolant temp tile. All other tiles I've been able to customize and stick/stay.

What happens if you try creating another user profile does it stick ?

Idk, I can try that. I deleted my wife’s profile because it would take soooo long to load I would bang my head against the steering wheel. So I’m down to one profile trying not to overload the UC5.

Mine does it too. But in my case it flips the A/F ratio tile to IAT. Annoying but not as annoying as the map not loading anymore except the first start of the day.

Yep the u software sucks hard for the maps not loading .
If it don’t load I switch user profiles and it loads up lol.
The T27.48 was bullet proof .
