for your maps issue. I would make sure your ethernet connector in the back of the radio is 1st fully seated and then maybe try it in the 2nd slot from the usb connection. The 2nd slot is the one in the schematic, but there is thought that which slot its in shouldn't matter.

When I had mine apart recently I confirmed my Ethernet cable is in the slot closest to the USB.

@p6cl If maps aren’t loading I’d definitely check that Ethernet connection. Programming all sounds fine if you actually get the map loading page on the cluster.

What actually needs to be done to the BCM? Like what are they doing to the new one to program it?

Is it just a clone of the current BCM? Or is it dealer specific, from the factory only programming, they load on it?

Only asking cause an ex service tech friend of a friend says he can do the BCM.

If someone has an aftermarket witech account, you can’t use the PIN that is provided by the dealership parts department, you have to use a PIN pulled from a key code request using locksmith credentials.
That’s why the most practical solution is to have the dealer do it.

I updated radio to T27.46 just now, also Maps to latest from Dec 2023. Doubtful that will fix maps not loading.

I got it from the 5th Gen Forum. The guy that posted it got it from a dealer's computer. There are only two legit ways to get the update: 1) Have your dealer install it. 2) OTA (I realize you can't get it this way). Ram Cares asked the guy that posted it to take it down, but someone quoted his post, so that's where I got it.

Uconnect T25.51 Update

Installed T27.46, all seems to be working still. Outside of a couple minor UI changes, nothing really new. No full screen android auto. Nothing broke though so I will call that a win.

radio module sent to me, apparently it is the wrong part. it is from a 2023 big horn. Some people were saying they are the same etc.

well that sucks because its no where near the same
